Shudder, AMC Networks’ premium streaming service for horror, thrillers and the supernatural, is thrilled to release the trailer for the Shudder Original Deadstream ahead of the film’s debut on the platform on Thursday, October 6. The feature directorial debut from husband-and-wife filmmaking couple Vanessa and Joseph Winter, who also share writing co-credits, premiered earlier this year at the 2022 SXSW Film Festival in the Midnight section to wild acclaim from audiences and critics. Joseph Winter also stars, alongside Melanie Stone and Jason K. Wixom. The film is available now on Screeners.com

Deadstream follows a disgraced internet personality who attempts to win back his followers by livestreaming one night alone in a haunted house. But when he accidentally pisses off a vengeful spirit, his big comeback event becomes a real-time fight for his life.

With Deadstream, a rare horror comedy as frightening as it is funny, the Winters have boldly announced themselves as exciting emerging talent ready to take the genre scene by storm. The work of the filmmaking duo can next be seen in a segment from Shudder’s hotly-anticipated V/H/S/99, the latest installment in the celebrated found-footage horror series, which premieres out of TIFF’s Midnight Madness later this month.

Deadstream is produced by Joseph and Vanessa Winters, alongside cinematographer Jared Cook and actress Melanie Stone, who also star in the film. The Winters co-edited the film, with Joseph contributing to music for the project as well.

Thomas Haley's Timely Directorial Debut BREAKDOWN, Featuring Jessica Cameron, Releases!

Thomas Haley's directorial feature film debut Breakdown has released world wide on digital platforms from AVAIL Entertainment, with a dvd release set for 1st Quarter 2021. It also marks the feature film debut for his production company H2 Crew Productions.

Breakdown is Thomas Haley’s passion project and has been in the works for a few years. It’s release is well timed given the current pandemic which share similarities with the film’s grim reality. After a mysterious virus has wiped out much of the worlds population, with the remaining sick being corralled in quarantine zones, as one man fights to find a cure to save humanity, and himself.

Breakdown is directed and stars Thomas Haley in his most intense role released to date, carrying much of the film’s heavy themes. He is surrounded by a stellar supporting cast including rising scream queen Brooklyn Haley (Paranormal Attraction, Camp Twilight, Slice and Dice), Corey Sorenson (Chicago Fire, Patchwork, Palo Alto), Jessica Cameron (Truth or Dare, Silent Night, All Through The House) and John Marrott (Envy, Desert Moon).

The Film has been described as a cross between “I am Legend” and “Contagion” and was filmed with a skeleton crew and a strategically spent micro budget. When asked about the film Haley had these comments:

“Months were spent in preproduction planning out where the best use our resources would really make the biggest impact. Every shot was discussed with the team to make every angle look its best.  When CoVid Hit Los Angeles, It was crazy. We had no idea how much reality would actually imitate art. We had a completed project centered around a virus and I thought lets get this out because people are going through very similar conflicts as Tim Reynolds (our Lead Character in Breakdown) and that relatability may help people feel less alone during this real life pandemic.”

Breakdown was written by cinematographer Dan Jagels, who is a frequent collaborator with Haley, this is the 13th time have worked together. When asked about his inspiration for the script, Jagels said the following:

I have always wondered and been fascinated by what it would really be like when something like a disease or natural disaster hits the world.  But not on a grand scale like most disaster or post apocalyptic movies, but for the individual.  The one man or woman that is trying to survive, that has perhaps already lost what he holds so dear.  Would this person in turn lose themselves?  Their sense of right and wrong?  Especially if others around him have gone to the dark side, so to speak. And no one is held accountable.  This film explores that idea.  One mans journey to do what is right, especially when everything has been lost or taken from him.”

NAZITHON: DECADENCE AND DESTRUCTION (Review)

Title: Nazithon: Decade of Destruction
Director: Charles Band
Writer: Kent Roudebush
Cast: Michelle ''Bombshell'' McGee, Ian Roberts
Min: 80

In a bunker, Frau Bombshell (Michelle ''Bombshell'' McGee) is accompanied by a silent Nazi solider. She hosts a bunch of Naziploitation and Nazi centered exploitation movie trailers. They are shock of full babes, violence, gore, torture, and/ or the supernatural.
Nazithon: Decadence and Destruction is a heartwarming trailer collection from Charles Band and Full Moon's Grindhouse Collection. Our host, Michelle ''Bombshell'' McGee, is best known as the chick who broke up Sandra Bullock's marriage to Jesse James. She also appeared in some pics online where she wore a swastika armband. Her appearing on this collection can be seen either as distasteful and sleazy or as pure exploitation sensibility. I'll go with the former. Everything here is done with tongue firmly in cheek as an exploitation trailer collection should be. McGee is not a great host, not by a long shot, but she is adequate and serves her purpose. At least, I suppose she does.

The trailers are broken up into sections: Nazi camps, Nazi babes, Neo-Nazis, and supernatural Nazis. The last two add a bit of variety to the sick mix by focusing on blaxploitation (The Black Gestapo) and various biker flicks (The Tormentors and others) for Neo-Nazis, while the last section is all horror flicks. Nazi zombies (Zombie Lake, Shockwaves, etc.) and even Nazi ghosts (Death Ship) are featured.
All of the trailers are fun. In case of the first half centering on Naziploitation, they are in considerable bad taste. They are also usually really bad movies, so the truth is that many of their trailers are better than the films themselves! Among the movies of this nasty sub-genre presented here are: SS Camp 5: Women’s Hell, SS Hell Camp, SS Experiment Love Camp, Salon Kitty (a genuine classic of the sub-genre), and more. Also included are trailers for all of the Ilsa movies, which are generally considered the creme-de-la-creme in exploitation circles.
Tossed among the trailers are clips from two movies. First off is Video Nasty SS Hell Camp (AKA The Beast in Heat) (pictured above). Seeing the clip they show here may lead you to believe that this is a great movie with a hot and evil chick. Well, she certainly is hot and evil, but the movie is pretty far from being good at all. Meanwhile, the clip from Jean Rollin's Zombie Lake almost put me to sleep. But, honestly that's about the only weak part in an otherwise fun compilation.

Nazithon: Decadence and Destruction is a fun and not very politically correct trailer collection of a pretty tasteless sub-genre. Centering on Naziploitation and Nazi-centered sex and violence movies, it might not be for everyone. However, if you are not offended by subject matter and, most specially, if you are curious about it, dive right in! After all, Charles Band truly knows how to put these trailer collections (The Best of Sex and Violence anyone?) successfully together, and this perversely fun edition is no different.

Wicked Comix Releases Official Trailer For 'Batman v Superman XXX: An Axel Braun Parody

All pics come courtesy of Wicked Pictures

As you long time readers know I am a huge, and admit ably life-long, comic-book fan. That being said, I have been seriously underwhelmed by anything DC has been releasing in regards to their upcoming DC cinematic universe releases. This perhaps most evident in everything related to their upcoming Batman V Superman, whose actual trailer left me totally apathetic.

Leave it then to Axel Braun and Wicked Pictures (and their imprint Wicked Comix) to shake shit up and release a KILLER trailer to their Batman V Superman XXX porn parody. It looks AWESOME! I've looked it a couple of times already, and simply love it! I can't WAIT to see and own the DVD, when it comes out. The costumes look great (of course! Braun knows and loves his comics), and the casting is spot-on! Speaking of which I totally flipped out when one of my personal favorites, the beautiful Celeste Star, made an appearance at the end of the trailer. It looks like a cool little cameo for her and an over all awesome and shocking scene. I actually got to tweet with Celeste about this, and she told me that it was really fun to do. Anyway, with any further adieu:

Holiday Slasher ALL THROUGH THE HOUSE Releases Trailer

Everyone once in a while I run into a trailer so fucking awesome, that I HAVE to share it! I'm a huge fan of Christmas horror movies, and this one looks to be a great addition to the infamous sub-genre. And, the fact that it features such gorgeous and talented actresses as Jessica Cameron, Ashley Mary Nunes, and Jennifer Wenger, make even more excited for it!
From the press release:

"The Readmond Company has teamed up with Director/Writer Todd Nunes to bring you a terrorizing, blood-soaked Christmas slasher. All Through the House stars scream queens Ashley Mary Nunes (SYFY’S Robot Combat League), Jessica Cameron (Truth or Dare), and Jennifer Wenger (Jimmy Kimmel Live). The film’s gory special effects were created by Tommy Pietch of SYFY’S Face Off and Star Trek: Renegades.

All Through the House is an 80s-style slasher film featuring a deranged Santa Slayer who rips through the town of Napa for some yuletide-terror.

Fifteen years ago, a peaceful Christmas neighborhood was engulfed by fear when five-year-old Jamie Garrett was mysteriously taken from her bedroom never to be seen again. Now on Christmas break, Rachel Kimmel comes home from college to find her neighborhood struck again by a reign of terror. A violent killer is hiding behind a grisly Santa mask, leaving a bloody trail of slaughtered women and castrated men to the steps of the Garrett house. Rachel finds herself in a horrifying nightmare as she discovers the twisted secret behind the mask.

“This slasher has been brewing in my mind since I was a kid,” says Director/Writer Todd Nunes. “It’s not a rehash of popular Christmas horror movie subplots, like punishing the naughty, Santa obsessed psychos, or death by antlers. This is a dark, scary, violent story that delivers on a big bloody body count, beautiful girls, and lots of terrifying action. It’s everything I love to see in a horror movie - every murder is shown on screen and the anti-hero is a killer with a diabolical, sadistic mystery.”

“Although I loved my character because she is strong and complex, I’m really drawn to the twisted and crazy characters she meets in this movie,” says actress Ashley Mary Nunes (as Rachel Kimmell). “The Killer in All Through the House is disturbing, gross and really unique - I’m fascinated by the depraved impulses. I know that everyone is going to love all the gore and violence, but there is also a twisted mystery that ties it all together like a big Christmas bow.”

All Through the House was shot in 21 days in the summer of 2014 in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Lake Arrowhead, CA. The 95 minute film is currently in post-production. Director/Writer Todd Nunes graduated with honors from The Los Angeles Film School and studied screenwriting at UCLA's Writers' Program. This is the first film by Santa Monica-based The Readmond Company.
Full Cast: Ashley Mary Nunes (Robot Combat League), Jessica Cameron (Truth or Dare), Melynda Kiring (The Fog Lady), Jennifer Wenger (Jimmy Kimmel Live), Natalie Montera, Lito Velasco, Jason Rayer, Johanna Rae (Natural Born Filmmakers), Cathy Garrett, Matt Poeschl (Entourage), Danica Riner, Kelsey Carlstedt, Lyndon Laveaux, Justice Lee, Sarah Miller, Milijana Riner, Noah Boylen, John Nunes, and Sky Boylen.

Full Crew: Stephen Readmond (Producer), Christopher Stanley (Producer), Todd Nunes (Director/Writer), Ryan J. Anderson (Cinematography), Glenda Suggs (Assistant Director), Tommy Pietch (Key Special Effects), Josh McCarron (Special Effect David Passey (Gaffer), Adrian Rivero (Sound), Alexis Evelyn (Editor), Melissa Black (Production Design), Crista Llewellyn (Makeup Artist), Nigelle Paden (Makeup Artist), Patricia McPhaul (Script Supervisor), Sharon Nunes (Set Decorator), Grip (Tamra Garrett), Jennifer Nunes (Grip), Shane Nunes (Production Assistant)."

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" Trailer Awakens Feelings of Joy!

As I lifelong Star Wars fan, I was super excited to hear about the series of movies that Disney are doing, now that they own the rights to franchise. While, I was a little concerned with Disney making shit too cute, I was reminded that Marvel has remained as is, with Disney not really fucking shit up there.

Slowly we have been getting more and more tidbits from the movie. A pic here and there and then the subtitle, The Force Awakens, which I think is pretty fucking sweet. But, now comes the biggest and most awesome piece yet, the first fuckin trailer!!!

Now mind you, it's just a teaser. We won't get more for a while, but it wets the appetite, it tempts you, it makes you salivate. I know after seeing this, I wet myself. And, every time I would rewatch it, I would wet myself again!

There are no plot points revealed, but we do get glimpses of some cool shit (I posted a few screenshots for you here, as you can see):
1. A black stromtropper, which is cool, cause this means people wanted to become stromtroopers, and they are not just a bunch of clones.
2. An R2 unit, or something like an R2 unit, with a ball for body, which is just cute enough without being wretch inducing.
3. Some hot chick on a new speeder bike, cause you know the Star Wars universe could always use more females.
4. X-Wings, TIE fighters, and the Millennium Falcon. Fuck yes!! And, the ships look fucking great!!!
5. But, the most awesome reveal of all is the new Sith Lord. We only see him from behind, but he's armed with a fucking kick ass looking blade. That shit looks like it could do some serious damage!! Bonus points, one of my new favorite geeks AlphaOmega Sin on the net, mentioned that it looks like something out of a black metal video. Which it totally does, and that motherfuckers, is totally awesome!

If you ain't seen it or want to cream your undies again, here ya go:

Actually, I do have one complaint. We gotta wait till Dec. of next year! Which is odd cause Star Wars movies always came out in May (may the 5th be with you, anyone?!), and sucks, cause we have to wait a fuckin year, a WHOLE fuckin year!! ARRRGGHHH!!!

On the bright side, we are sure to get tons of new Star Wars merch between now and then. Which means more stuff to blow my cash on and fill my room with! Maybe we will see some of it at Toy Fair next year. I'll be there, so I will be sure to let ya know! All we can do for, now, is hope that that is the case. Maybe the Force be with you all!

Hot Asian Girl of the Month: Nicole Bilderback

The final full month of summer is upon us. But do not despair! I have a beautiful Asian woman to soothe you over this, the gorgeous actress: Nicole Bilderback.

Nicole was born in Seoul, South Korea on June 10, 1975. She was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Dallas, Texas and was a cheerleader in junior high. She studied dancing at a young age, and at 14 enrolled at Dallas Young Actor's Studio.

After she graduated from Lake Highlands high School, she moved to LA to pursue acting. Her first role was in the classic Clueless.

Her most famous role may have been in Bring It On, where she played snotty cheerleader Whitney. I have to say that I had this fantasy where she and her partner/ bestie played by the gorgeous Clare Kramer where lesbian lovers. Hey, this is me we are talking about! I actually like that flick. There are sooo many babes in it! Plus, it is actually funny. Nicole in a cheerleader outfit is the stuff dreams are made of!

She was also in some TV shows that used to watch including Dark Angel, where she appeared as Brin in four episodes, and two episodes of Heroes as Ms. Sakamoto. Her latest role is in the action film Mercenaries, which also stars Cynthia Rothrock, Brigitte Nielsen, Vivca A. Fox, Zoe Bell, and, one of my personal favorites, Kristanna Loken.

I liked that little interview that I found and posted above with her. Nicole is truly beautiful and deserves to be more recognized. I would love to see her in more stuff. I've had a long running crush on her and think that after reading this you will, too!

A Monster Is Stuck Up My Ass- The Red Band Trailer to "Bad Milo"

The soon to be released Bad Milo tells the surely heartwarming tale of a man named Duncan (Ken Marino) who has a demon stuck up his ass. He names it Milo. Hilarity, and therapy, insuses. And, pain, I would imagine, lots of pain.

Director and co-writer, Jacob Vaughn's horror-comedy, looks to be a more insane version of Basket Case. It looks real fuckin funny, totally over-the-top, gory, and a must-see. Check out the wild and hilarious red band trailer:

Bad Milo will start playing on On Demand on August 29, 2013, and then hit theaters on October 14th. You can bet your ass, which I hope has no demons up it (unless you are into that sort of thing), I will be seeing this as soon as I can!
