Jessica Cameron Stars in New Short Film "The Tour"

All pictures come courtesy of the pres release of THE TOUR.

The lovely and mulch-talented Jessica Cameron stars along with her Truth or Dare co-star the gorgeous Heather Dorff in a new and upcoming short horror flick The Tour.

From the press release:

A new haunted house short film, called The Tour just finished filming. Alex Mathieson and Damon Rickard are directing from a script that they cowrote together. Jessica Cameron (Mr. Hush, Camel Spiders) and Heather Dorff (What They Say, Dry Spell) star in the film along with Tom Gordon who is primarily known for stage productions in Europe including Julius Caesar and Dealer’s Choice. This movie marks the third collaboration of Cameron and Dorff, the first being Intrusive Behavior, and the second being Cameron’s award winning directorial debut, Truth or Dare.

The plot of The Tour is as follows: Two American tourists (Cameron & Dorff) visit the grounds of the haunted Darkmoor Manor but are unable to gain admittance. Later that day they are met by a handsome and charming local (Gordon) who tells them how he can get inside the infamous house. Upon entering the manor, they are met with untold horrors.

Filming took place in London, UK during the beginning of March of 2014 and they shot the short film at the infamous Wymering Manor which is considered to be one of the most haunted locations in all of England. The film was shot on the Arri Alexa camera.

When asked about the project, Cameron had this to say:
“Directors Damon and Alex brought such a wonderfully scary vision to life and assembled one hell of a crew! I have never been so genuinely creeped out on a film set! Horror fans will love this one!”

Dorff added:
“It was an honor to not only visit London for the first time, but work with the talented, amazing, and professional cast and crew of The Tour. I will cherish this experience forever.”

Rickard had this to say:
“Filming The Tour was an experience that will last a lifetime. The cast and crew we had couldn't have given us more and it was more like a family having a blast than a film set. I can't wait for people to see it!”

Expect the short film to be available for viewing later this year. Until then, please check out the teaser image below along with links to The Tour’s social media profiles for active updates!

The 175 Greatest Heavy Metal Album Covers of all Time Pt. 3: 150-141

150. Bolt Thrower- War Master- This death metal classic has a cover that looks like something of a power metal band, but who cares?! It's fucking badass and looks like someone was having a total Conan The Barbarian moment in mind!

149. White Zombie- Super Sexy Swinging Sounds- This remix album has a simple but cool and sexy throwback to 60s pin-ups covers, which I simply love!

148. Danzig- Danzig- The iconic Danzig skull appears half way on the cover. Open up the CD or LP and you see the whole damn thing. Simple but so cool and most definitely evil looking! The use of shadow and the black background is just perfect!!

147. Amon Amarth- Surtur Rising- The mythological giant, Surtr, battles vikings on the cover of the eight studio album from the Swedish melodic, viking death metal band.

146. Exodus- Shovel Headed Kill Machine- The seventh album by these Bay Area thrashers has a really sweet looking sci-fi inspired tank, skulls, big guns, and splattered blood. Do you really need anything more in a heavy metal album cover?

145. Drain STH- Freaks of Nature- The second and final album from this all female alt-metal band has a simple but great looking band cover. It has two elements we all appreciate: four beautiful women and fire. It's hot in multiple ways!

144. Deadlands- Evilution- The debut album from this thrash band has a nude girl with no nipples, a stitched up stomach, wearing a gas mask, and somehow connected to a machine full of wires. Creepy, cool, and kind of sexual.

143. KoRn- Follow the Leader- Comic book artists Gregg Capullo and Todd McFarlane did the cover to KoRn's third album. A little girl leads a group of kids to the edge of, and probably off of of, a cliff.

142. Dark Angel- Time Does Not Heal- The forth, final, and, in my book, best album from thrash band Dark Angel has a pretty and clearly scared blonde, as creepy men are hidden in shadows in back of her in some alley. It's a nicely shot and scary photographic cover.

141. Burzum- Hvis Lyset Tar Oss- The title means "If the Light Takes Us Away" in Norwegian and is the third album from the solo project. The cover is from a drawing by 19th century artist Theodor Kittelsen named Fattigmannen (The Pauper). It features a dead body, crows, and a desolate path, in other words a place that is just filled with happiness and joy!

The 175 Greatest Heavy Metal Album Covers of all Time Pt. 2: 160-151

160. Deicide- Till Death Do Us Part- Taken from a part of the painting "Woman and Death" by Hans Baldung, this is beautiful and creepy looking cover adorns the ninth album by Florida evil masters of death. It's also a surprisingly non-satanic cover, but yet it ranks as one of their absolute best and creepiest looking covers.

159. Motorhead- 1916- The first of many Motorhead covers to make this list was the first Motorhead album that I ever owned. It's got cool WWI inspired artwork with flags, a war plane, and, of course, Snaggletooth!

158. The Black Dahlia Murder- Deflorate- A fat dude with some weird gas mask attached to something or another blasts some humans with an electric ray. I guess he is some sort of leader and these folk have disobeyed/ rebelled against him. I'm not really sure, but it is really cool, weird. and original looking.

157. Deftones- Diamond Eyes- The simple but beautiful photo of a majestic looking owl gives the alt/ nu-metal masters this spot on the list. Other bands have used animals on their covers, but it's the composition and shot, itself that makes this one rank here.

156. Five Finger Death Punch- War Is the Answer- The second album by popular groove metal act FFDP has their skull mascot in a gas-mask point at you with war planes flying over his head. He wants you!!

155. King Diamond/ Merycful Fate- A Dangerous Meeting- This compilation of some of the best songs from both bands fronted by the King, himself, is actually the first album I bought with him in it. The cover featuring a hand over an invitation, a dagger lying next to it, empty seats, a window with a cross, and a ghostly skull forming from it is both creepy and really cool!

154. Dying Fetus- Reign Supreme- A skeletal being with a torn up cloak and hood over skeletons and skulls is classic death metal. It looks great and cool. You see this and you just know that you are in for a real death metal album!

153. Bathory- Bathory- Classic and iconic cover from black metal fathers (or should I say father?) is a portion of a drawing by Joesph Smith. The satanic goat's head, AKA the Baphomet, is one of black metal's most easily recognizable images. Just think of how many people you have seen wear the shirt!

152. Blue Oyster Cult- Some Enchanted Even- This live album from this classic hard rock band is actually their best selling album. It also has their coolest cover as a grim reaper rides a horse. Just a great old school metal cover!

151. Malevolent Creation- The Ten Commandments- The debut from this death metal act has a demon rising what one would imagine to be the "evil" ten commandments in some desolate and nightmarish world. This is yet another album cover that perfectly captures what a cool death metal cover should be like.
