28. Emily Hampshire (last year #37)- Gorgeous Emily Hampshire moves up 11 spots, thanks to her ever increasingly awesome role as Jennifer Goines on the amazing 12 Monkeys. It does suck that we are only get one more season if it, though...




27. Aly Michalka (last year #21)- Aly Michalka remains one of the sexiest and most beautiful women on TV, especially thanks to her role on the best damn zombie show on TV, iZombie!









26. Whitney Moore (last year #21)- Whitney Moore is not just covering the Week in Metal over at MetalSucks,com, but she is also covering the Week in Horror over at BloodyDisgusting.com! That is on top of her other geeky duties. Plus, she appeared in a short horror flick! Busy, blonde, beautiful, and with great tastes in cool stuff, Ms. Moore is a big personal favorite.





25. Rose McIver (last year #30)- Man, iZombie just keeps getting better and better and that wouldn't be possible without its beautiful and excellent lead Rose McIver. That being said, can the new season get here already?!









24. Camila Mendes (new)- Adding some Latin heat to Riverdale is Camila Mendes who brings Veronica to life. Tough, sassy, and delectable Mendes' Veronica will have you debating over whether she or Betty (Lili Reinhart) is hotter, every damn time you watch the show.




23. Myrkur (Amaile Bruun) (new)- Myrkur is the musical project of Danish artist Amalie Brunn. Her latest album Mareridt is a masterpiece and truly one of the finest black metal albums. Bruun, herself, is deeply talented and has an ethereal and breathtaking beauty to her.


22. Amy Forsyth (new)- Playing the lead in the new season of SyFy's horror anthology (by way of a new story every season) series, Channel Zero, young beauty Amy Forsyth pulled in a solid and strong performance with much depth and emotion. Even when faced with such horrors, as her dead dad "returning" and eating human flesh!







21. Vera  Farmiga (last year #13)- This year marked the ending of the excellent horror/ drama series Bates Motel. Yes, it sucked that it ended, but it's finale was perfect. The always gorgeous Vera Farmiga gave another amazing portrayal of Norma Bates, even if the character, itself, was dead for the whole season!

20. Elizabeth Olsen (last year #47)- I think I fall more in love with the beautiful Elizabeth Olsen after I see each new movie of hers. I was completely and utterly captivated by her in this year's phenomenal Captain America: Civil War. Not, only did she look truly enchanting (pun intended) and breathtaking but her take on the Scarlet Witch made her one of my favorite characters in the movie.






19. Katrina Law (last year ranked 2014 #27)- Admit ably the lack of Nyssa (Katrina Law) on Arrow has been one of the few crappy things about this otherwise fine season. But, meeting Law at Heroes and Villains in the summer was a highlight of 2016. She was so nice and my pic with her was one of most epic pics I that I ever took with someone ever! 18. Jane Levy (last year ranked 2013 #69)- I absolutely LOVED Jane Levy's performance in the magnificent Don't Breathe. I also loved how beautiful she looked. Enough so that she returned with a vengeance after a three year absence and sky rocketed up this list. 17. Trillium (new)- I am not gonna mince any words here, Trillium is one of the best newer girls in the porn biz, today. In fact, she, currently, is my personal favorite young girl in skin flicks. This naturally beautiful and sexy as fuck blonde is breathtaking. When I saw her in person at this year's Adult Entertainment Expo, I was captivated by her beauty. And, her scenes are always volcanic!!






16. Whitney Moore (new)- I don't think I even knew who she was till she began appearing on MetalSucks videos, but I love her now! Funny, blonde, beautiful, and a fellow metalhead, she is total future wifey material. And, her hosting the Week in Metal on that aforementioned metal site's YouTube is one of the greatest things on that whole social media video network!


15. Jessica Cameron (last year #23)- This blonde scream queen and horror director continues her upward movement on the list. With so many hotly anticipated projects that her fans await to be released, her constant presence on social media (including ALL those awesome YouTube videos that she posts), and her kick ass roles, it is to see why. The stunner managed to make the holidays all the better by appearing on the bloody and awesome Christmas slasher All Through the House, which as available to watch and own this year. And, which I reviewed and loved! But, aside from her beauty, hard work ethic, and love for the genre, there is her love for cats and dogs, which proves she is beautiful inside and out.

14. Asta Paredes (last year ranked 2014 #15)- This dark haired beauty returns to the list after a one year absence thanks to her excellent role in Rich Mallory and Ruby Larocca's awesome Sociopathia. Another lady whose outer beauty is matched by her inner, Paredes is one the genre's best and most beloved current horror actresses.







13. Vera Farmiga (last year #6)- Farmiga remains as stunning as ever and as talented. Her performance on Bates Motel was as amazing and as complex, as ever. All of which made it that more tragic and shocking when (SPOILER!!!) her character gets killed by her son Norman Bates. in the later part of this season.

 




12. Amanda Schull (last year #11)- Amanda Schull's character of Dr. Cassandra Rally on 12 Monkeys remains one of the best characters on all of TV. Cassie went through so much this season and her character had to go through so many different feelings. It's a complex role that this truly breathtaking beauty takes with all of the gusto and talent need and well beyond.
 




11. Tatiana Maslany (last year #10)- This season of Orphan Black started out kind of weak then hit its stride. The season finale was all kinds of awesome and as always the gorgeous Tatiana Maslany was able to handle all of her roles with incredible acting ability. She is truly one of the finest (acting and looking) actress in the history of TV.

Horror Crush: Vera Farmiga

It's time for another horror crush. This time I am picking a woman who is currently appearing in horror material and is a total MILF. I am talking about the exquisitely beautiful Vera Farmiga.

Farmiga was born on Aug. 6, 1972 (making her 43) in Clifton, NJ. She's been acting since 1996, but it wasn't until 2007, when she appeared in her first genre flick. It was Joshua. I have never seen and am not sure I ever even heard of it before, writing this. It's apparently a creepy kid flick. Any of you out there seen it? Any thoughts?

She wouldn't return to straight up horror till Orphan, which coincidentally, is also a creepy kid flick! Orphan is actually chilling, fun, nasty, and even a little sleazy. This is the tale of a couple that adopts a weird, little girl (Isabelle Fuhrman) that turns out to be anything but innocence. It's not scared to go beyond what studio horror deems OK material and features a great performance by the whole cast. Especially Farmiga who brings a lot of heart and depth to her performance. While, Fuhrman is creepy and as fuck. Without a shadow of a doubt one of the best flicks of this sub-genre and a favorite of mine that holds up really well to repeated viewings.

 

 

 

2013 saw her in the two roles that would define her genre work: Bates Motel and The Conjuring. Bates Motel is, of course, about the teen life of Psycho's killer Norman Bates. Farmiga plays his mom Norma Bates. This show far exceeded expectations, from the get go, and has gone on to be a fine genre series. It's a great mix of drama and horror. The acting is phenomenal and it manages to be creepy and get under your skin. Farmiga's immense talent and unbelievable beauty are in full display on this show, which recently ended it's fifth season in a spectacular manner.

 

 

The Conjuring remains my favorite movie of hers, as well as being one of the finest haunted house/ ghost flicks, ever. I've reviewed it before so need to talk more about it, other than once again mentioning how great she is in her role and how stunning she looks.

She returned to the same role in the recently released The Conjuring 2. This well done sequel may fall under some horror tropes but the talent in front and behind the camera raises it well, well above the average sequel or ghost flick. Like its' predecessor, it is inspired by a "true story". James Wan, again, proves that he is one of the genre's finest filmmakers. Unlike others he understands how to build tension and even manages to use jump scares correctly. The strong acting further helps the story alone. Farmiga again is amazing and, well, looks amazing, too!

Farmiga is as talented an actress as she is gorgeous. Her beauty is so captivating that, at times, I find myself completely taken away by it. She is truly one of the most stunnung MILFs in the history of horror.

10. Tatiana Maslany (last year same)- Orphan Black continues to be one of the best damn sci-fi shows on TV, and the beautiful Ms. Maslany one of the finest actresses on all of TV. In fact, considering how many roles she plays on the show, and how great she is, she might just be THE best actress on TV. The new clone that they introduced that she plays, blonde Krystal is especially yummy!





9. Asa Akira (last year #1)- After holding the top spot for four years (a record!), Asa remains in the top ten. She continued to be one of the best and hottest contract girls, thanks to her work for Wicked Pictures. And, yet she remains one of the nicest girls in the biz.


8. Melissa Benoist (new)- The highest ranking new entry this year, Supergirl's title star is a truly captivating beauty. She reallyu captures Supergirl and brings her physically and emotionally to life perfectly. Whether in or out of the iconic costume, Benoist looks amazing. But, she has the talent to back it up, being able to kick ass and give the right emotional depth to the character. At only 27 years of age and the popularity of the show the sky is the limit (pun intended) for this blonde beauty.


7. Deborah Ann Wohl (last year #9)- Thanks to the amazing Marvel/ Netflix series Daredevil, we didn't have to lament the former True Blood beauty being away from our TV sets for long. If anything, it introduced this now blonde goddess to a legion of new fans. And, her solid acting as Karen Page solidifies her position as one the best actresses on genre related TV shows.






6. Vera Farmiga (last year #7)- The beautiful Ms. Farmiga is, in my humble opinion, the most gorgeous MILF on all of TV land. And, this season in the awesome Bates Motel, she proved that she is holding on to that title and not letting it go anytime soon. Her beauty is so intense that it sometimes distracts me from the show's excellent script. Thank God for her amazing acting ability which draws me right back in and insures her ever rising spot on this list.





5. Dani Daniels (last year #6)- The beautiful Dani Daniels moves up a spot to become the highest ranking adult star still working in the biz on the list this year. And, with good reason. She is unquestionably one of the hottest and most popular adult performers in porn today. Her personality helps, too, as I consider her to have one of THE best Twitter (which you can follow if you click on her name in this post) accounts to follow, porn or not. Enough so that she won the AVN award for Social Media Star, an award chosen by her loving fans. And, then of course, there is her stunning and natural beauty. Seriously, Dani is one of the most beautiful women, ever to live on the Earth.


4. Tera Patrick (last year same)- Tera remains as beloved by her fans, as ever. This year, I got to see her at the Adult Entertainment Expo, where she was seated at the Red Light Center booth. There I learned that the 3D game had an animated version of Tera herself in the game. My subsequent write up and pics became one of my most popular posts of this year.






3. Jennifer Lawrence (last year same)- J. Law remains one of the most beautiful and talented stars in Hollywood, today. She continues to draw in huge fan and critical acclaim, in both dramas like Joy and mainstream action/ sci-fi blockbusters like the final entry in the Hunger Games series: Mockingjay Part 2. Even in that good but uneven movie's lesser moments, she continued to shine.





2.  Jen & Sylvia Soska (last year same)- Holding in at the silver medal are horror's most beloved sisters, the beautiful and ubber-talented Soska twins. This year saw them having their entertaining and ultra-violent revenge/ prison flick Vendetta released, their second with WWE Studios. Their first TV show, the wild and creepy game show Hellevator saw their popularity extend even further. It has developed a rabid following from fans who just love tweeting about it along with the Canadian beauties live during its air time. Currently, they are working on their own feature Puppet Killer. It will be fascinating to see what spin they have on the killer doll sub-genre.

1. Ash Costello (last year #8)- And, now our new #1, the first ever musician to rank in at the top spot, it's the beautiful Ash Costello of rockers New Years Day. Costello seems to get more and more beautiful each day. This year saw her band releasing their best work yet in the form of the ass kicker, Malevolence. The subsequent tour saw them play some kick shows, including the one where I got to see them perform. At said show, I also had the complete and utter pleasure of meeting her. She is so awesome in person! And, it is very clear that she is one of the most beloved front women in rock and metal, today. It is for those reasons, that this Gothic beauty takes the top spot for 2015's hottest babes!
