Hottie air hostesses Laura (Leslie Bibb) and Suzy (Jamie Chung) are talking as they wait for the passengers to board Flight 7500, which is headed to Japan. Suzy asks Laura about her relationship with the married airplane captain, Pete (Johnathon Schaech). Suzy, herself, is engaged, and they talk about that, too. Suzy seems to be happy. But, Laura questions this, based on her look in a single pic of with Suzy and her hubby to be. Soon, the passengers board the plane and our two, lovely ladies greet them. 

We are introduced to them ourselves, they include: newly weds Rick (Jerry Ferrara) and pretty but uber snotty and bitchy Liz (Nicky Whelan), goth hottie Jacinta (Scout Taylor-Compton), who sits next to them much to the chagrin of Liz but seeming pleasure of Rick (who could blame him, though?), Raquel (Christian Serratos) who is worried that she might be knocked up, two couples in the form of: Jenn (Aja Evans) and Jack (Ben Sharples) and Brad (Ryan Kwanten) and Pia (Amy Smart), who have recently and secretly broken up, Jake (Alex Frost), who is a scumbag thief, and creepy and suspicious businessman Lance (Rick Kelly) who boards on the plane with a wooden box.

During the flight, Lance has a panic attack and bleeds forth from his mouth. He ends up dying and his body is moved to first class, which is emptied out. And, wouldn't you know, creepy-ass shit begins to happen to those on the flight.  

Flight 7500 is one of the most delayed horror movies of the 2010's. I remember seeing the trailer that promised that it would come out on August 31, 2012. With the gorgeous female cast and the fact that Takashit Shimizu, he of Ju-on and The Grudge fame, was in the directing chair, my interest was piqued. But, the movie was pulled back in May 2012 for a 2013 release, then it was pulled again and seemingly completely disappeared. Then, out of the blue and with no fanfare, it hit video on demand and DVD on April 12, 2016! 

I finally got around to catching it. And, so the question is, is it as bad as all the delays and rescheduled release dates would have you believe? Well, no, but it is most certainly not a good flick either. I'll begin with what works, though.

First and foremost. the acting is solid throughout. Featuring a strong cast of actors you know from various other genre works, like Ryan Kwanten of True Blood, as Brad, all the characters are bought to life in a strong manner. Most of the characters are likable save for Frost's Jake who is easily the most dispicable character in the movie, Whelan's Liz, who is just too much of a twat, and Kelly's Lance, who well, is just plain, fucking creepy. Thus, it can be said that that they achieve the character's respective archetype strongly.

May, I also comment that the female cast is insanely hot? From a critical standpoint, this might not seem like it is all that important, as it isn't. But, I cannot fucking lie, it is ultimately a plus, at least for me, as having easy on the eyes ladies is always very welcomed. That they are all as talented as they are beautiful is even better. I mean just listen to this cast again, in case you seemingly lost it the first time around: Amy (The Butterfly Effect) Smart, Scout (Rob Zombie's Halloween 1&2) Taylor-Compton, Jamie (Sorority Row) Chung, Leslie (Trick 'R' Treat) Bibb, Christian (The Walking Dead) Searratos, and Nicky Whelan! Now, that, dear friends, is fucking hot!

There are also a couple of genuinely creepy moments, something Shimizu is obviously talented at. I also like the fact that it does not involve any female ghosts with long black hair, which some, myself included, might have thought that it did. The fear factor also ties into the movie's issues, though, as there simply isn't enough of them. You see, once the climax came, I was taken back, and thought to myself, wait, this is about to end?! Already?! It feels like after all the building up and slow burn of it, suddenly rushes to the ending and begins to throw in more scares and action cause it needs to, not cause it should. 

And, then there is that ending. It is suppose to be some sort of a twist, but the only reaction it got from me was, "really?!" It is funny that the character of Brad is watching a Twilight Zone episode (the classic Nightmare at 20,000 Feet, in which William Shatner's character sees a monster on the wing of the plane, that he is on, from his window seat). Why it's worth mentioning (other than the fact that both the episode in question and this movie both involve "scary" shit happening on a plane) because the movie thinks it is the classic series with its shock ending. Only it feels like a much more lazy edition of the Twilight Zone, than anything actually scary or shocking. It leaves you with a very ho-hum feeling when it is all said and done.

And, with this being a PG-13 movie there is no gore or nudity. Usually these types of movies, rely more on restraint and creepiness rather than splatter or boobies. But, some of the scary stuff begins to happen too fast, we don't actually see anything. I realize that is too keep what is happening to the passengers a secret, but it comes off a little frustrating at times. With that in mind, some gore would have helped the flick, and kicked it up a notch. 

Flight 7500 took forever to finally get released. You might think to yourself, as such, it's probably a flying turd. But, it really isn't that bad. Thing is it isn't really good, either. The movie is, however, just alright, truly middle of the road, or is it air? Well acted, with a beautiful, female cast, and a few creepy moments, it also suffer from not enough of them, not much happening, and a rushed climax. It also has a really lazy, twist ending. Unless, you are a fan of any of the cast, I can't surely recommend it. But, if you do see it and keep your expectations low, as I did, and you might get a little bit of enjoyment out of it. That being said, you probably shouldn't see this one before boarding a plane, yourself.

40. Alexandra Daddario (last yr 41)- A long time favorite of mine, the stunning and voluptuous, Ms. Daddario bared her AMAZING boobs and HOT ass for the critically acclaimed True Detective this year, making for one of year's most memorable skin moments. 








39. Willa Holland (last yr 40)- Willa's character of Thea in Arrow has really gotten a lot better and, in fact, become one of the series' most interesting ones. She is sexy and badass, now, even more so with the shorter hair. I think that look is just truly stunning on her!




38. Caity Lotz (new)- The hottest blonde to ever be on Arrow, in my humble opinion, anyway, this curvy and delicious babe was great as Black Canary. Her sad death was the most shocking moment in the early moments of this season.









37. Katrina Law (new)- The lover of the character of the above mentioned Ms. Lotz and daughter of Ra's Al Ghoul, this sexy brunette brings the badass with the inherit sexiness of being a lesbian to the best live action superhero show in the history of the world. Her acting is also most excellent, making her one of my absolute favorite characters on the show.

 
36. Taylor Momsen (last yr 45)- The sexy, leggy, and beautiful rocker has put her band, The Pretty Reckless', best album yet, with only their second release. It's the kick ass and hard rocking, Going to Hell. That album also ranks as one of this year's best releases!




35. Akira Lane (same)- One of my most reads posts this entire was my interview with this stunning porn star and model, who only seems to get sexier, hotter, and naughtier with time.









34. Jamie Chung (last year 7)- Busy as ever, this gorgeous goddess also broke hearts by letting us know that she is engaged. She had two geek roles that are worth mentioning, though. The first in the box office bomb Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For and, latter, in the year's best animated film, Big Hero 6.







33. Luna Star (new)- One of the most beautiful Latin women on God's green Earth this way too sexy porn star gave me what was my sexiest on camera interview this year and one of the sexiest I have ever had. Her accent alone is worth listening/ talking to!








32. Alexia and Anissa Rodriguez (Eyes Set to Kill) (last yr 36)- I met these gorgeous Latin sisters, for the first time at the awesome Revolver's Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock show in NYC and then met them again for a second time at their own headlining show later in the year. They are so sweet and fan friendly in person! And, of course, they are absolutely gorgeous!!! Also, they kick major fucking ass onstage!! At both shows they fuckin rocked it! I will definitely see them, whenever it is they come back!

31. Remy Lacroix (last yr 34)- I got to meet the beautiful Ms. Lacroix at AEE earlier this year and was taken back by her killer combo of beautiful and cute. I would also like to declare her the greatest hula-hoop dancer of all time. Do a search for proof! I mean she always inspires GIFs, based solely on this amazing talent of hers!

10. Maggie Q (same)- This year marks the series finale of Nikita, which I didn't like but many seemed to. But, with other projects still lined up, I doubt this will be the last time we see see this leggy and talented beauty on the list.

9. Deborah Ann Woll (same)- True Blood's hottest beauty still made me wish I was living in Bontomp and hers, as she remains THE hottest blood-sucker in the history of television.

8. Zooey Daschanel (last yr. 6)- Even if New Girl is really kind of bleh, now, she is still beautiful. I LOVE seeing her in commercials like the Time Warner one she is in!

7. Jamie Chung (last yr. 2)- I stand by what I say, Jamie is one of the most beautiful women in mainstream movies, but not just now, ever! She always looks stunning, even in a year where she didn't have any projects I was into.

6. Andy San Dimas (new)- This metalhead beauty is one of my personal favorite women in the adult biz. She is so much fun to follow is super cool, and hot(!!!), in person. She also gave me a very cool interview at the Adult Entertainment Expo that ranked as one of my most popular ones of the year. I can't wait to see what she does next!

5. Dani Daniels (last yr. 3)- Another of my favorite performers to follow, the stunning Ms. Daniels is drop-dead gorgeous, intelligent, and artistically talented.

4. Tera Patrick (same)- One of the most beautiful women in the world, Tera continues to breaks hearts with her perfect looks and make fans happy with all appearances, including her excellent cosplays. My favorite of which has to be the Hello Punisher. Also, she is always a pleasure to talk or see, as I did when I saw her at Exxxotica AC.

 

3. Jen & Sylvia Soska (last yr. 16)- They inch even closer to the top stop by having given us THE best horror film of the year in American Mary, giving me two interviews for best-horror-movies.com, including one where I met them in person! At said meeting, I got hugs and kisses! So, let this be a reminder to you ladies out there, bribing me helps! But, in all seriousness, they backed it up with their imminence talent, true love for horror, sweetness, and, most of course, their complete and utter hotness!!

2. Jennifer Lawrence (last yr. 9)- Inching closer to the top stop this natural beauty is just vision of true beauty, with a wonderful down-to-earth quality, and great acting. This was very evident in the best mainstream movie of the year: The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

1. Asa Akira (same)- She holds on to the top stop for a record third year! But between co-hosting the AVNs, seeing her at both AEE and Exxxotica NJ, and making HOT porn films, all while looking like the perfect woman, there was no way she wouldn't. Plus, she is always a sweetheart in person. Will she hold on to this spot next year? Tune in to find out twelve months from now!

The 70 Hottest Babes of 2012, pt. 7: 10-1

10. Maggie Q (last yr 7)- Nikita remains one of my favorite shows on TV. And, with Maggie Q's character now leading division, and looking as yummy as ever doing, she remains in the top ten. The season seems likes it's only gonna get better, so don't be shocked if she ranks even higher next year!

9. Jennifer Lawrence (new)- The gorgeous Ms. Lawrence pulls in a huge debut thanks in no small part to her killer combination of beauty and excellent acting skills. She pulled in a great performance in the surprisingly good The Hunger Games. She was also in the horror flick The House at the End of the Street, and though I didn't see it, I can say she looked delicious in the trailers!!





 8. Deborah Ann Woll (same)- The hottest woman in all of horror TV continues to hold strong her place at the the 8th spot thanks to a season that saw her get even more sexy and beautiful and play "Rock Band". Seriously, I think I fell even more in love with her after that scene in True Blood!  





7. Miko Lee (last yr. 10)- Miko co-produced and had a role in what is one of the biggest adult releases of the year: Spartacus XXII: The Beginning. She promoted the hell out of it, through her various social networks. And, through it all remained accessible and friendly to all her fans. Add that to her work to save and preserve sharks and it proves that Miko is both beautiful inside and out. 


6. Zooey Daschanel (last yr. 24)- One of the year's biggest leaps comes from the beautiful and talented Ms. Daschanel. Put it this way, she got to me watch her sitcom New Girl, which I said I never would watch. I mean I hate sitcoms. And, not only watch it but keep watching it. And, the start to like it. And, actually laugh while watching it! That speaks volumes of her awesomeness, and well, my fandom for her. And, I guess the show, too.





5. Tera Patrick (new)- The gorgeous Ms. Tera Patrick provided me with my biggest and most popular interview of the year, maybe even ever, at NYCC. She proved to be so amicable, down-to-earth, and intelligent in person. Not only did she visit us Eastcoasters for that show, but also did Exxxotica NJ a month later. She also did a non-sex cameo in upcoming The Expendables XXX, and with more appearances next year, I'm sure she will continue to have much success.




4. Grace Park (last yr. 2)- Still, the most badass cop show in the history of TV, Hawaii Five-O helps the stunning Miss. Park remain in a top four spot. Plus, it's been great seeing her character Kono actually doing more ass kicking and even get a romantic partner. It will be interesting to see where they go with that storyline on the show.





 
3. Dani Daniels (new)- Dani makes the highest debut in the history of this list, since it became a yearly thing. And, it's easy to see why. Naturally beautiful and smolderingly hot, Daniels is easily one of the industry's very best babes. She began the year burning up girl/ girl scenes including her own movie, Dani, which is the very best lesbian movie of the year. Then in September, she finally made the jump to boy/ girl scenes with Dani Daniels: Dare, which got a lot of rightfully deserved press. In fact, with those two releases, both from Elegant Angel who continue to put out the best porn, Dani has two of the hottest pornos released this year. And, I honestly believe that the sky is the limit for this gorgeous, light-blue eyed goddess!!


2. Jamie Chung (last yr. 3)- Jamie moves one spot up closing on in the first, as she proved to have a humongously successful year. Her star continues to rise, which makes me very happy. As long time readers, fans, followers, and friends of mine know, I have long been supporting her all the way back since she first started. And, I hope to continue to do so. And, with her work in four movies released this year, including the dumb fun of Man with the Iron Fists, and her TV appearance on Once Upon a Time, it's clear that she's here to stay!




1. Asa Akira (same)- For the second year straight, this goddess holds on the the top spot. She appeared in countless of releases this, including one of my favorite girl/ girls movies, her own starring vehicle, Asa Loves Girls and the ending to Elegant Angel's trilogy of hers' Asa Akira Is Insatiable 3, as well as continuing to draw attention form the porn world. She got lots of nominations from XCritic and the AVNs, which she will be co-hosting with Jesse Jane in January! It's very clear that her success continues to grow and rightfully so; as she totally deserves to keep her top spot! Can anyone beat her next year, on this list? I guess you'll have to wait till the same time in 2013 to find out!!

The 70 Hottest Babes of 2011, pt. 7: 10-1

10. Miko Lee (new)- Miko has been one of the hardest working babes this year with lots of porn, including two huge upcoming films: the vampire flick Forbitten Desires and the hotly anticipated Spartacus XXX. All while remaining a total sweetheart to her fans and stunningly beautiful as ever!





9. Deborah Ann Wohl (last year- 46)- Man, every season of True Blood sees this babe get hotter and hotter! Any time we see her in bra and panties it's a good thing. Her character went through a lot, too. Which allowed her to show her amazing acting chops. Oh, and she's is great in the still unreleased Mother's Day, as well.




8. Tia Ling (last year- same)- One of the sexiest and yummiest porn stars, I am truly in love with the lovely Ms. Ling. She also happens to be very interactive with her fans on Twitter and post some great stuff on the net. She also continues to be in some of the most bonerriffic porn out there!





7. Laura Vandervoort (last year- 49)- V might have gotten the axe this year, but this goddess' amazing beauty and great performance on that show, give her the biggest leap on my list this year.



6. Maggie Q (last year- 13)- As soon as I saw the first new episode of this season of Nikita, I said to myself and on my Twitter, "Maggie Q has gotten even hotter, now! Damn!" The series remains quality programing, her acting is excellent, and she is just fucking gorgeous. I would die for those killer legs, alone!!!




5. Angelina Armani (last year- 10)- The lovely Ms. Armani starred in this year's hotly anticipated Chromeskull: Laid to Rest II. I also interviewed her twice this year. The second of which led to my first published article in the October 2011 issue of Fangoria. She's as sweet and down to earth as she is gorgeous. Thus, this leggy babe is the single highest ranking blonde on my annual list! But, hey I called it last year that this one was gonna be a good one for her. And, I think 2012 will be as good, if not better!


4. Sasha Grey (last year 3)- All hail Sasha Grey! She continues to push herself further into mainstream. This year also saw some dumbasses make a big mess about her reading to kids in a school. But, thank goodness many stood by her including Whoopi Goldberg and the goregous Aurora Snow. I, too, showed my support on my Twitter and Facebook fan page.



3. Jamie Chung (last year- 2)- She starred in two big movies this year: the underrated Sucker Punch and the hit Hangover 2. And, my God, she looked delicious in Sucker Punch (I have yet to see Hangover 2, but I can bet you my house she looked hot in that, too). You just can't beat a hot Asian chick with a gun! She also did some sexy photo-shoots. In short this was a great year to be a fan of this Korean goddess!!




2. Grace Park (last year- 1)- Last year's top babe drops one spot, but only cause the still badass Hawaii Five-0 gave more face time the new chick. Still, Park remains the hottest cop on TV and the most beautiful woman in the history of television.

She also starred in the smoldering and nasty as hell Asa Akira Is Insatiable 2. Plus, she was in a bunch of other porn that had tons of dudes reaching for the tissue box. With her star getting bigger by the second, she has become, arguably, the biggest Asian porn star out, right now, as well as one of the top and most popular porn babes of ALL. And, so there really is no one else, I could pick other than this vision of perfection to top my list this year.
