Jesse Jane & Asa Akira Seminar on the 2013 AVN Awards

I made my triumphant return to the Adult Entertainment Expo this past week arriving at Vegas on Thurs. As soon as I was done checking into my hotel and getting a quick bite to eat I headed out to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, where the Expo, was held for the second year in a row.
As soon I got to the convention area, I saw the beautiful Asa Akira. She told me she was doing a seminar with Jesse Jane and to come see it. After, I checked in, to get my press pass, I did just that. The following is my first report from the con, since this is the first thing that I did, while being there.
Both of the girls looked stunning. Honestly, AVN made THE right choice by picking them, and while we are at it, I should mention that Asa would end up winning a shitload of awards, on Saturday's award show. I mean a ton! Anyways, back to what happened on Thurs, Jesse always comes off as so nice. Despite her huge name she's always so down to earth. I've been signing Asa's praises for ages here, so it goes without saying, for me, how nice, I think, she is.

One of the highlight's had to be Asa talking about her infamous appearance on TMZ, where she won best anal and thanked her asshole. Hey, like she said at the seminar, "Any publicity is good publicity!" Asa also mentioned that she thought that she would be up for best girl-girl for Asa Loves Girls. I gotta agree. I really thought it would be. But, alas, it wasn't, and I was really disappointed and surprised that it wasn't. Along with Dani it's one of the two best lesbian releases of last year. She wonders why her girl-girl stuff is never up for nominations. I do, too. AVN, please explain! I consider myself a fan, expert, and long time (since I could purchase porn) connoisseur of lesbo smut, and Asa is amazing in lesbian scenes!!

Anyway, another highlight had Jesse revealing that she he has a drawer filled with vibrators. She made it quite clear, that she has a lot, and I do mean A LOT of vibrators!

The following clips (actually two edited together) has both girls talking about being in the porn world for so long, shooting on a set, and more. It's good fun and shows off both girls' awesome personalities.

Radomness: Upcoming Events, I'll be at and Some Trailers

Think of this as one of those times, I that I have a couple of things that I wanna talk about. So, I made a post to cover it all, rather quickly.

First off next week, marks my return to my home away from home, Las Vegas, as well, as my return to the Adult Entertainment Expo (haven't been to either or since 2011). I will be covering it for this site. I have some really cool interviews set up, that I think you guys will love. That said, I will be really busy at and out of the show, with coverage for this site. I ain't sure how much time I'll have to enjoy Sin City, itself, probably not much. But, the show, itself, is hell of fun, and everything I have lined up is pretty freaking awesome. So, I'm very excited.
Kristine Rose, from my very first day, at my very first AEE back in 2011 when I covered was there covering it.

Next month, I will be at Toy Fair. Not sure what days yet, though, I have some vague ideas, but I'll be covering that, too. Toy Fair is always fun and considerably relaxed. No hot porn stars in short shorts, though.
Man, that pic is considerably different than the one above it! LOL!

And, some trailers, for your enjoyment:

Sam Raimi's The Evil Dead remains a terrifying, gore-drenched, unrated horror classic. Though, over-shadowed by it's amazing, first sequel, the original remains a solid and excellent exercise in unrelenting splatter. Baring that in mind, I had no desire to see the remake, much less since it has no Bruce Campbell. The first two trailers did shit to make me think differently, but low and behold the second red-band trailer comes out and my jaw drops. Now, I wanna see this fucker! It looks brutally serious and gory. Haven't seen the trailer or want to relive it? Here it is:

And, speaking of horror trailers, here is this random German one, I found the other night. The movie is called Cannibal Diner, and it really doesn't look very good. In fact, it looks like a cheap Texas Chainsaw Massacre (which reminds me, I've yet to see the new one, but with Vegas coming up not sure when I will...) rip-off. But, it does seem to be gory and have hot girls. Oh, and hot girls making out. That's always a plus. The Germans tend to do their gore real brutal and nasty in movies that are usually cheap and sleazy. So, there is a degree of curiosity in me. But, with A LOT of reserve and low expectations. Any thoughts?

Finally for those of you who demand more skin, I have the SFW trailer of to Sweet Sinner's The Stripper. It's couples porn starring the gorgeous Jennifer White playing a housewife who becomes a stripper to help the bad stituation that her and her dickhead hubby are in. Hey, it's porn with a current soci-political message for these bad economic times! It also has THE quote of the wk: "If your not gonna wear the pants around here, at least let me take mine off"

The Top 10 Movies of 2012

2012 has passed us by, and as far as movies are concerned it was a great year. In particular for horror movies, as there were some of the finest genre films I've seen in sometime. In fact, this might be the year with the most amount of horror movies to ever make this list. I do want to say that the best horror movie I saw this year, the magnificent American Mary, is not ranked, only because it's official release is this year. I'm sure that when I make the list for this year it will rank among the very best, as it is as amazing a movie, as I have seen the genre produce in a very long time. As always, my list is probably not like other lists out there, but then again this blog isn't like most blogs out there. Anyway, no more wasting time here is my list:

10. The Expendables 2- Opening the list is this fun and badass, and to me, superior sequel to the original star-studded action-fest. It's a solid shoot-em up, with great ones liners, lots of kick ass, bloody action (and to think there were rumors of this getting a PG-13!!), allusions to the AWESOME cast's past action films, and a hot Asian chick. Lundgren was probably my favorite in the film, but Van Damme made for a damn (pun not intended) good villain. Bring on part 3!!

9. Mother's Day- Though it took two years (in fact I reviewed it last year) to finally get an official release, this superior sort of remake to the good Troma released movie of the same name, ranks as one of last year's most vicious horror flicks. The acting is great, in particular from Rebecca DeMornay and the reigning queen of quality horror remakes: the lovely Jamie King. It also features very tense directing. The moments of strong, graphic violence give the film a nice gut punch that you will surely feel.

8. The Raid: Redemption- Here's a kick ass, break-necked paced, and brutally violent action flick from Indonesia that got a wide-release in the US, and it totally deserved it. It also deserves all the praise that you've heard it get. It is the best martial arts film since The Protector. The action never stops, nor does the insane splattery violence. The fight scenes will leave your jaw dropping to the floor and the stunts are just insane!! If you have yet to see this one you're doing yourself a diservce. Of note: this movie's success probably hurt Dredd, which had a very similar plot (IE go up a building to battle the main baddie in a building filled with baddies). And, you should definitely see that one as well, though this is definitely the superior movie.

7. The Cabin the Woods- Co-writer Joss Whedon's flick is a loving tribute to the horror genre. There are so many cool moments and so many cool creatures, that you can watch this a million times over. In fact, i liked this one even more the second time around, enough so that I changed the position that it ranked in originally. Throw in the babes, nudity, gore, and, what is probably the best climax of the year, and you have the first of two big hits Mr. Whedon has on this list. For more on my thoughts, but not enough to ruin it, check out my review here: http://themastergio.blogspot.com/2012/04/cabin-in-woods.html

6. Skyfall- The best Bond film since my personal favorite in the series, For Your Eyes Only, this one even manages to trump the greatness that was Casino Royale. The action is the most suspenseful the series has had in countless of ages. The acting is on spot from the whole cast, with a riveting Javier Bardem, who ranks amongst the best of the Bond villains. Craig continues to prove that he is THE best Bond, since Connery. The emotional story, riveting climax, and perfect ending make this one a loving tribute to the series as well as a must see (and, when it hits DVD/ blu-ray: a must own) for Bond fans.

5. The Loved Ones- It's a shame that it took three fucking years for US fans to see this masterpiece of modern horror, and then that it got a somewhat underwhelming DVD release, and no blu-ray!! Regardless this is one that is so well written and features what is some of the finest acting in the genre in the entire year. This smart, attention holding, tough as nails survival horror flick, is one that should be seen by all lovers of terror. For more on my thoughts on this masterpiece read my review here: http://themastergio.blogspot.com/2012/06/loved-ones.html

4. Django Unchained- This tribute to the bloody spaghetti Django westerns, is Tarantino's best movie since Pulp Fiction. It is also his best looking movie, ever. It benifits from an amazing cast, including Jamie Foxx at his very best. DiCaprio makes for a dispicable villain, as does Samuel Jackson. Meanwhile, with this film Christopher Waltz cements himself as one of my favorite actors. Though long, Tarantino keeps the pace moving nicely, so you won't be feeling it (a problem with the director's lesser work like Death Proof). The gory shoot-outs will make you remember the type of films this is a love letter, to, as will the great music, some taken from the original Italian series, itself, as will the great cameo by Franco Nero. Horror fans should keep their open for cameos by Tom Savini, the lovely Amber Tamblyn, and her dad, Russ Tamblyn (who, of course, starred in the classic The Haunting).

3. God Bless American- This awesome jet-black, but hilarious comedy from Bobcat Goldthwait, is the single best comedy of the year. Playing like the ultimate liberal fantasy, this one that has our hero and his teen accomplice killing reality TV stars, assholes, and right-wing fascists. It's a fun, bloody movie, that will have you cheering them on, as they rack up the bodycount of the idiots and jackasses. The acting and the dialouge is priceless, with the whole scene where they talk about Alice Cooper ranking as what might be my favorite dailouge moment of the year.

2. Excision- Unquestionably the best image change of the year came from the lovely AnnaLynne McCord, who plays the misfit teen lead in this, the finest horror movie, to get an official release this year. McCord is amazing on very level, as is Traci Lords as her mom. I must say I'm one of those who thought it wasn't possible to get a great performance out of her, perhaps due to the earlier horrible roles, that she got. Alas, Lords proved me wrong, here. This film, a twisted coming of age movie, is alternately disturbing, hilarious, moving, touching, and gory. It is even that much better, the second time around. A true accomplishment for the genre this one will resonate with not just those of who always felt like the weird kid, but anyone, at all who views it. A new classic for the genre, without a shadow of a doubt!

1. Marvels The Avengers- When it came to pick the year's best, only one film remained at the top of this list, from the second that I finished watching it, and that's Joss Whedon's second movie to make this list: Marvel's The Avengers. This movie is perfect and a true geekgasm. One that I could worship and praise all day long, but I don't need to cause I wrote that praising review back in the summer of 2012: http://themastergio.blogspot.com/2012/05/marvels-avengers.html

Hot Asian Girl of the Month: Charmane Star (Special Exxxotica NJ 2012 Edition)

Pic and video by Negative Pop

Let's start the year off with my interview with one of my long favorites, the beautiful Charmane Star, who is my pick for Hot Asian Girl of the Month for January 2013. This gorgeous Filipino beauty has been in over 279 adult movies since 1998.

I got to conduct this fun and informative talk with her, which actually ended up being one of my favorites I conducted that weekend, during Exxxotica NJ 2012 in Nov. In it she let's us know what she's been up, her love for horror movies, and more.

The 1st Annual Master Gio Awards

Oh 2012, you had some truly great moments, including some amazing music, movies, geek stuff, and babes. Then, again, there was also some awful fucking shit. I've recently been playing with the idea of doing a bunch of awards (not including best babe, movie, and album, since I cover those in my top of the year lists, anyway) to celebrate the best and worst. I also figured I could have some fun doing just that, and hopefully, you also have fun reading my picks. Enjoy and let me know your thoughts, so let us begin with the shitty stuff, so as to save the best, for last:

The Bad Shit of 2012:

Worst Movie of the Year (That I Saw)- V/H/S/- Let's begin by saying that this is the worst film, by default, as I try my hardest to avoid bad movies, but of all the shit I saw this year, this one was the crappiest one. That said, I can assure there are worst movies out. Thank God, I didn't see those. Anyways, after much thought this award goes to V/H/S/. This one had a good first story as a babe is revealed to be a demon, a crappy second tale of a couple terrorized by a stranger, a godawful, piece of shit tale of digitized killer (that is one of the worst things I have ever seen and would easily win this award on it's own), a good tale involving Skype, a good story about a haunted house (but it's basically another Paranormal Activity), and a shit eating wrap-around story. Plus, it got a ton of hype due to the talent behind it. That actually pissed me off, even more as it is worth none of that hype.

Most Overrated Film of the Year- Dark Knight Rises- Man, I can hear the complaints, right now. But, sorry this film is a load of overrating of a mostly mediocre film. As some of you may recall I originally gave this film a 3 out of 4 star rating. Despite the fact, that if you read the review I had very little nice to say about it. And, guess what? Since, then I hate this one even more! In fact, I feel I overrated it with that rating. While, I still don't think it's a bad movie, per say, it's one of those movies, that the more I think about it, the more I dislike it. I mean, since that review, I think of more shit that pissed me off, not the least of which is the ridiculous scenes involving all the Gotham cops being sent to the sewer (why in fuck's name would anyone do that?!) and the one where they run to battle the baddies head on. What the fuck is this the Revolutionary War?! Fail that shit!!!

Worst Hero in a Movie- Batman in Dark Knight Rises- Bitching and whining will only earn you this not very cherished award. Seriously, Batman was a fucking emo pussy. So much so that I wish Alfred would have bitch-slapped his pathetic ass. Bats needs to grow some balls back!!

Horror Trend that Needs to Die- Zombies- Ya know I would never have thought of writing those words even up to an year ago. In fact, I would wanna say found footage shit, but nope, it's zombies. When The History Channel has zombie docus and there is a movie advertised as the Twilight, with comedy(!), of zombie movies (the upcoming Warm Bodies), its time to shoot the trend in the fucking head!! Yes, I realize there are still good zombie movies being made and The Walking Dead  rules, but you get my fuckin drift.

The Why the Fuck Is this not on Blu-Ray Award- (Tie) [Rec]3: Genesis and The Loved Ones- I love my blu-ray player, and while I still buy DVDs (mostly when I have no choice in the matter), I prefer blu-ray, of course. Well, I don't get why any new release would only be on DVD. I know some hated [Rec]3, but I thought it was fun. But, hey even if it sucked it still should have been on blu-ray. And, don't get me started on the amazing The Loved Ones, which gets very little extras on the DVD, which had gotten shelved some three years. Fuck Paramount!

The Channel Epic Fail Award- G4- You long time readers should may know my love for Attack of the Show. Well, it finally closed shop thanks to G4 who got rid of that (and X-Play) in preference of their new upcoming GQ inspired programming. Say what?! Uh, the appeal of these shows (and G4 in general) is that they are aimed for the niche audience that is no actual channel devoted to. And, how many men do you know whot read GQ these days? Shit, I ain't read an issue since like 2005, and that was only cause Jessica Alba was on the cover. Sure, AOTS wasn't as great as it used to be, but still it was entertaining. Remember kids, this means no more Candace Bailey and Kristen Holt (I could give a rat's ass about Sara Underwood). Fuck you, Comcast (the parent company of G4, in case you don't know)!!!

The Kick Ass Stuff of 2012

The Hottest Ass- Jada Stevens- I've recently been ranting about it, but it's hard not to, her butt is truly an amazing gift from the heavens above. It's big and perfect, and best of all, since she's in porn, so she shares it with us and gets anal love. Truly, can we ask for anything more? I think not!

Best Boobs (clothed)- Katie Featherston- It's a shame she keeps them covered because, good God they are amazing!! Even if you hate the Paranormal Activity flicks you gotta love her cleavage. If I was a demonic ghost I would haunt and want to possess them too! Though, admit ably, I wouldn't go snapping people's necks with her hands, I would probably make her look at her boobies in the mirror and, well you can figure out the rest...

Best Boobs (unclothed)- London Keyes- I love natural, big boobs. I LOVE Asian girls. Combine them both and well you know I may have to ask that girl to marry me! London continues to star in stroke worthy smut and gives us ample chances to drool all over her boobies.

Porn Trend of the Year- Girl/ Girl Movies- While, I'm done with some of the parodies (there are still some worth seeing and that catch my interest, but some of those movies, make me wonder who the hell needed porno version that?!), the trend of more and more girl/ girl stuff is an AWESOME one. The fact that many seem to be made by companies that dedicate themselves to only releasing lesbian flicks is fucking great! Aside, from the great Girlfriends Films, there are other studios like Club 59 and Sweetheart Video. Many of these are subsidiaries of bigger studios like Elegant Angel and Mile High Distribution, respectively. I've long been a fan of all girl movies and scenes, so to me this one of the greatest things. And, the casts for many of these movies are nothing short of AMAZING!!!

Breakthrough Performance in a Horror Film- Gretchen Lodge- While, the movie, itself, is a good, albeit very flawed film, Lodge gives a performance of a lifetime in Edwardo (Blair Witch Project) Sanchez' Lovely Molly. She comes off as sympathetic, sexy, and scary. I was blown away by her performance. I see great things in store for her!

Best Image Change in a Movie- AnnaLynne McCord in Excision- Before seeing this movie, I never thought much of Ms. McCord. Too prissy to ever interest me, she made such a HUGE and drastic change for one of the very best movies of the year in Excision. In it she plays a weird and disturbed teenager who wants to go into medical school, but fantasizes about surgeries and necrophilia and is into blood play. She gives such a shattering performance that is miles away from her Beverly Hills 90210 role, that you have to stand up and notice. In fact, I fell in love with her solely from this.
Runner-Up- Yvonne Strahovski in "Dexter"- She used to inspire the same feelings in me that McCord did. But, she plays a serial killer and boom, I'm in love! In all seriousness, though, seeing both these ladies going against type is awesome accomplishment. Kudos, ladies!

Best Nude Scene in a Movie- Dear God No! Madeline Brumby's Striptease- There some good nudes in this insane and awesome movie, but Madeline Brumby's striptease is my favorite. It's a memorable scene that had me drooling, happily!

Best Gore, Overall, in a Movie- Dear God No!- While, there were lots of good gore moments in lots of movies, the kick ass Dear God No! had the best amount and the most over-the-top, including a dude getting choked with his own guts!! You just can't fuckin beat that!!

Hottest Female Cast in a Non-Porno Flick- Man with the Iron Fist- This fun and bloody tribute to old-school kung-fu movies had a drool worthy cast that included Lucy Liu, Jamie Chung, and a ton of other Asian beauties. Basically, it's what heaven would look like to me. Sadly, though, they never got nude...

Blu-Ray Release of the Year- Jaws- One of the greatest movies ever made Steven Speilberg's Jaws made an amazing debut on blu-ray looking and sounding KILLER and having ass -kicking extra features, the best of which is the amazing docu "The Shark Is Still Working". Props to Universal for giving this horror classic a definitive release!!

TV Show of the Year- Dexter- This was a hard one to pick. As there were amazing seasons this year, including Game of Thrones, Grimm, and The Walking Dead (both of those continue this year, of course). But in the end, I have to give it to this jaw-dropping and captivating season of Dexter. The season finale alone warrants it consideration. Throw-in the plot twists and revelations and this one just totally held my interest. The only fail came from the AWFUL storyline of Debra being in love with her adopted brother, Dexter. That's gross and stupid, but the rest of the season? PERFECT!!!!

Superhero team of the Year- The Thunderbolts (Thunderbolts #1)- Lead by General Thunderbolt Ross (AKA the Red Hulk and guy who hates the Hulk), and comprised of Marvel's heroes that kill, the Punisher, Venom (by way of Flash Thompson), Elektra, and Deadpool, this is the single most badass team in superhero history.

The It's more Addictive than Crack Video Game Award- WWE 13- Ever since I got this as a Christmas present, I can't stop playing it. Good controls, creation abilities, graphics, and the Attitude Era stuff makes this a most own!!

Toy Line of the Year- Pop! by Funko- Seriously, I LOVE this line!! After getting the Leatherface and bloody Daryl "The Walking Dead" Dixon toys, I need to get more and more!! Cute and wonderfully detailed, these are the first toys in ages I've started collecting.

Well that's it as far as these awards go, hope 2013 has lots of great stuff in store for all of us!

The 70 Hottest Babes of 2012, pt. 7: 10-1

10. Maggie Q (last yr 7)- Nikita remains one of my favorite shows on TV. And, with Maggie Q's character now leading division, and looking as yummy as ever doing, she remains in the top ten. The season seems likes it's only gonna get better, so don't be shocked if she ranks even higher next year!

9. Jennifer Lawrence (new)- The gorgeous Ms. Lawrence pulls in a huge debut thanks in no small part to her killer combination of beauty and excellent acting skills. She pulled in a great performance in the surprisingly good The Hunger Games. She was also in the horror flick The House at the End of the Street, and though I didn't see it, I can say she looked delicious in the trailers!!

 8. Deborah Ann Woll (same)- The hottest woman in all of horror TV continues to hold strong her place at the the 8th spot thanks to a season that saw her get even more sexy and beautiful and play "Rock Band". Seriously, I think I fell even more in love with her after that scene in True Blood!

7. Miko Lee (last yr. 10)- Miko co-produced and had a role in what is one of the biggest adult releases of the year: Spartacus XXII: The Beginning. She promoted the hell out of it, through her various social networks. And, through it all remained accessible and friendly to all her fans. Add that to her work to save and preserve sharks and it proves that Miko is both beautiful inside and out.

6. Zooey Daschanel (last yr. 24)- One of the year's biggest leaps comes from the beautiful and talented Ms. Daschanel. Put it this way, she got to me watch her sitcom New Girl, which I said I never would watch. I mean I hate sitcoms. And, not only watch it but keep watching it. And, the start to like it. And, actually laugh while watching it! That speaks volumes of her awesomeness, and well, my fandom for her. And, I guess the show, too.

5. Tera Patrick (new)- The gorgeous Ms. Tera Patrick provided me with my biggest and most popular interview of the year, maybe even ever, at NYCC. She proved to be so amicable, down-to-earth, and intelligent in person. Not only did she visit us Eastcoasters for that show, but also did Exxxotica NJ a month later. She also did a non-sex cameo in upcoming The Expendables XXX, and with more appearances next year, I'm sure she will continue to have much success.

4. Grace Park (last yr. 2)- Still, the most badass cop show in the history of TV, Hawaii Five-O helps the stunning Miss. Park remain in a top four spot. Plus, it's been great seeing her character Kono actually doing more ass kicking and even get a romantic partner. It will be interesting to see where they go with that storyline on the show.

3. Dani Daniels (new)- Dani makes the highest debut in the history of this list, since it became a yearly thing. And, it's easy to see why. Naturally beautiful and smolderingly hot, Daniels is easily one of the industry's very best babes. She began the year burning up girl/ girl scenes including her own movie, Dani, which is the very best lesbian movie of the year. Then in September, she finally made the jump to boy/ girl scenes with Dani Daniels: Dare, which got a lot of rightfully deserved press. In fact, with those two releases, both from Elegant Angel who continue to put out the best porn, Dani has two of the hottest pornos released this year. And, I honestly believe that the sky is the limit for this gorgeous, light-blue eyed goddess!!

2. Jamie Chung (last yr. 3)- Jamie moves one spot up closing on in the first, as she proved to have a humongously successful year. Her star continues to rise, which makes me very happy. As long time readers, fans, followers, and friends of mine know, I have long been supporting her all the way back since she first started. And, I hope to continue to do so. And, with her work in four movies released this year, including the dumb fun of Man with the Iron Fists, and her TV appearance on Once Upon a Time, it's clear that she's here to stay!

1. Asa Akira (same)- For the second year straight, this goddess holds on the the top spot. She appeared in countless of releases this, including one of my favorite girl/ girls movies, her own starring vehicle, Asa Loves Girls and the ending to Elegant Angel's trilogy of hers' Asa Akira Is Insatiable 3, as well as continuing to draw attention form the porn world. She got lots of nominations from XCritic and the AVNs, which she will be co-hosting with Jesse Jane in January! It's very clear that her success continues to grow and rightfully so; as she totally deserves to keep her top spot! Can anyone beat her next year, on this list? I guess you'll have to wait till the same time in 2013 to find out!!
