(Video) An Exclusive Interview with Artist Kira Lee at ACA Galleries, NYC

Kira Lee is an amazing NYC based artist. ACA Galleries, in NYC, is currently having an exhibition of her incredible art, called Legends and Lyrics. They her music inspired pieces are of iconic rock artists like John Lennon, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, David Bowie (who gets a whole wall dedicated to him!), Kurt Cobain, and many others. Her art is amazing and truly breathtaking. As you get closer to look at it, you get to truly realize just how much work and heart she puts into her pieces, as you come to realize that they are made up of words and lyrics, inspired by each of the artists.

You can see of the pieces in the pictures displayed in this article, though they do not do them the true justice that they deserve. You simply need to see them for yourself to truly get the depth of their beauty.

 

I am a huge fan of her work and had the utmost pleasure of talking to her about on them at the public opening of her art show, last week on Feb. 2, 2017.

Daejha Milan Talks AFFLV 2017 with Us

I got to catch up with Daejha Milan and talk to her about this year's edition of the Adult Film Festival Las Vegas (AFFLV). Read on to find out what she told me about this exciting and upcoming festival (March 18-19 2017).

For the uninitiated, could you tell us a little about the Adult Film Festival Las Vegas? 
AFFLV is the first and only event of its kind! It will be held March 18-19, 2017 at the Erotic Heritage Museum in Las Vegas, Nv. We show the adult films that have been submitted throughout the year by producers. There are seminars, Porn Stars, Web Stars, an After Party, a bounce house with girls who will jump with the attendees and much more!

What were some of the highlights of the film festival when you last held it? 
The most feedback I received from the last show from both attendees and exhibitors was the quality seminars that were scheduled. They learned a lot and were entertained. This year will not disappoint either!

What do you have planned this year? 
There will be a live band named “Fans of Jimmy Century” performing for the After Party and the first 50 people on Sat, March 18 will get free entry to Puppetry of the Penis show!

An actual Astrophysicist was called upon to help create this exhibit! It has a hyper lock chamber and makes fun noises as it opens before the museum goers step into the exhibit.

(Video) Pink Cigar Part 1- Exclusive Interview and Photoshoot at Grit N Glory (NYC)

This past Friday, Nov. 4, 2015, I had the immense of pleasure of scoring an exclusive interview and photoshoot with British punk/ hard rockers Pink Cigar at NYC's badass Grit N Glory. This is the first time that Pink Cigar has ever been or played in the US. The next day was going to be the first date of their still going on tour in NYC. And, what a better place to talk about their ass kicking brand of fun sleaze rock than Grit N Glory a very cool rock n' roll boutique and tattoo parlor co-owned by lovely tattoo artist and model Megan Massacre (whom you may know from reality TV show NY Ink).

By the way, I was also present at that first show, pics and report soon to come on that in the second part of this. You can actually see a little bit of their live performance from that show at Sidewalk in the video below.

At New York Comic Con (NYCC) on Sat, Oct. 10, 2015, Troma co-founder Lloyd Kaufman gave me a fun, informative, and energetic interview at the Troma booth. I even got cameo appearances by the lovely Catherine Corcoran and the Toxic Avenger who joined us a little later in it. All weekend the Troma booth was THE most fun booth at all of NYCC, and I think that this interview and some of clips contained within, really capture at least a little of that fun.
