NYCC 2019- Friday, Part 2- The Further Adventures of Logan, Deadpool, and the X-Men!

Last time I showed the first part of highlights from my adventures cosplaying as Logan at New York Comic Con 2019 on Friday. Here then, is the second half of that, with more pics of me with my fellow X-Men!

First off here are a couple of pics with of me with my friends Nelson D. Martinez and Breezeski as Deadpool and Rogue respectively.

Speaking of Deadpool, he was a busy man at comic-con as was looking for some hijinks!

XayBlackLion as Daken!

The following four amazing pics were taken by the incredible Paul Williams Photography. These are such badass pics that I am blown away by them every time I see them. I am so happy and honored to have taken a part in them!

And, let us end with one more X-Men pic. This came one came from one of my friends, I believe:

NYCC 2019- Friday, Part 1: Logan, Deadpool, and the X-Men!

The Friday, October 4, 2019 edition of New York Comic Con had me return to my Logan cosplay. I had even more fun this time around. Each year, doing him gets more enjoyable and being involved in so many X-Men inspired shoots made it even cooler. Like before, my aunt did my make-up which got a great reaction, including an older couple, earlier that day on the subway, who were concerned that something had happened to me. I told them I was OK, and that I was going to Comic-Con!
The super, fucking awesome Deadpool above and beyond is my friend Nelson D. Martinez, by the way. Anywho, here are some X-Men inspired highlights, from this day:
 This Juggernaut is badass!

XayBlackLion made for an awesome Daken, AKA Wolverine's son! So, think of this as son versus dad! Until, we figure out that Deadpool is being a dick and we should kick his ass instead!

My friend Breezeski as an awesome Rogue!
Not gonna lie, this is one of my favorite pics of the entire convention!

It turns out that I had met the totally kick ass Psyloche below, last year where she was an awesome Dark Phoenix! Her name is Elizabeth Haywood, and she is a great cosplayer, super cool, and the pics below came out badass, if I do say so myself.

Stevo was the best Gambit I saw during the whole con. His cosplay was just perfect!

I leave you with this awesome Jean Grey and myself (sans shirt). And, yes, I was cold (being only in a tank-top), but fuck it. I will gladly suffer for my art! Tune in next time for more Logan inspired Friday cosplaying action!

NYCC 2018: Sat, Part 2: More of the Best of Cosplay

Last time I showed you the first part of my Saturday coverage at NYCC 2018. Here is the second part of it! These are more of my favorite cosplays that I saw that day:

 Oh yeah!

Holy shit! Look at all the detail and then think of all the work that must have gone into this Doomsday (below)! Amazing! Also, it should be noted that this is better than the CGI crap that was in the shitfest that is Batman V Superman. And, done with less of the budget and resources, just saying.

Is he interrupting your tweeting, Spidey?

As a huge fan of Indiana Jones, I fucking loved these two!

This awesome cosplay is done by my good friend Nelson D. Martinez.

And, here I am with my friend:

Check out this AMAZING Annihilus (below)! He may well have been my favorite cosplay of the day. I made sure to "battle" him!

One more pic, also with me as Logan. But, this time posing with a lovely cosplayer doing a fucking awesome Dark Phoenix! I love the way this pic came out and is one my favorites of the day:

NYCC 2018: Sat, Part 1: Cosplay and More!

Due to reasons that I won't get into here, I was only able to attend Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 6&7, as opposed to all four days, of New York Comic Con (NYCC). That being said, I had a blast. And, I did not hesitate in bringing you kind of coverage that you are use to seeing here at WORDS FROM THE MASTER. Let's begin with my first part of highlights from Sat.
This lovely, young lady did an awesome Charlotte Flair cosplay. I have never seen anyone do her, and now it will be hard to beat just how good she did her! It's a beautiful robe, and the cosplayer, herself, really knew how to bring Ms. Flair to life. And, she is even more beautiful the lovely lady she is cosplaying as!

This year, I didn't notice a single cosplay that was overdone, as in past years with characters like Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, or Deadpool. Those characters were there, but at normal amounts. However, a couple of ladies did Bowsette, a sexy, female take on Super Mario Brothers villain Bowser. But, even this was not overdone. The above lovely lady was one of my favorites takes on this cosplay.

Halloween is coming up and this site loves and lives for horror, so here are some awesome horror cosplays for you!

Speaking of horror, I attended the Anna and the Apocalypse panel. It was fucking awesome! You can read more about that here: https://www.themastergio.com/2018/10/anna-and-apocalypse-panel-at-nycc-2018.html
Below, you'll see an exclusive pic of the panel, that you won't find on that link:

Some more of my favorite cosplays, of the day:

This dude was born to cosplay as He-Man!
That's my friend Kiara in the middle in her "Dragonball" inspired cosplay, with two "Mortal Kombat" Subzero and Scorpion and their friendship!

On Saturday I cosplayed as Logan, once again, but thanks to my aunt, who did my make-up, I added some blood and cuts to him.
Here I am with the Marvel pets at the "Marvel Puzzle Quest" booth!
With badass and beautiful cosplayer Scarlet SpyderQueen.

To be continued...
