It's been too long since I gave you guys a new music mix. In preparing for my return to seeing WSU women's wrestling live (which I talked a little about here: http://themastergio.blogspot.com/2012/06/what-i-master-have-been-up-to.html), I made a new one. This one is filled with all the pissed off music to beat someone's ass to. Or to, at the very least, let out some steam. Lots of thrash metal, hardcore, metalcore, and more. Plus, I choose an old school ECW pic, of Sabu and Terry Funk wrestling in REAL barb wire, as the cover (it's above) to drive the point home.

Music Mix: Feel the Power!

There are songs that when I listen to them I just feel great inside, for whatever reason that maybe. Perhaps it's the lyrics, the band, the feel of the song,l it jsut depends on the track or so many other factors. This, my latest mix, and my first in six months, is filled with songs that give me that good feeling. I wanna rock out to them, I wanna sign along to them, and some even empower me.

My intention is to do the same for you, hence the title. The nude beauty on the cover is the always stunning, sexy, and sweet Courtney Cummz. Why her? Cause, I think just looking at her will make you feel good. And, as I have said before here, her "cute" blog always gives me a positive feeling whenever I read it, so she goes along perfectly with this mix.

For those of you feeling down, I hope this mix lifts up yours spirits, and for those already of us feeling good, it'll add to the happiness. I made to sure to include a good variety of classic and modern hard rock, metal, metalcore, thrash, and groove metal. Enjoy and rock on, my metal brothers and sisters!!!

Music Mix: Darkness Is Visiting Me

So, this month, I was inspired to make two mixes. The first one was more of a badass mix, this one is decidedly different. It's definitely one that is darker, but no less heavy. I aimed to make one that you could listen to when you are mood for something that is much more bleak. Perhaps you are not feeling so hot. I find that these songs are great for just that time. Or maybe it's just that you are in a good mood, but wanna hear some darker shit, regardless.

With songs about death, Satan, evil, darkness, werewolves, and evil seductresses, I think you'll definitely like what I got in store for you this one. There is A LOT of black and thrash metal!!!

As for the cover, it's from Blood Hunter, and enjoyable vampire movie, starring the delicious Lucy Liu. I picked her as one of the hottest vampire babes, a long time ago.

Music Mix: The Official Soundtrack to an Ass Whooping

Has your day, week, month, etc. sucked? Is there some asshole, dickhead, douchebag, etc., that you know who deserves to get punched in the face? Are you just pissed off? Or do you want a good intro for your wrestling character? If you answered yes, to any of those questions, then this is the mix for you!

In many ways, this mix is to make you feel better about some sucky shit and can serve as a companion piece to one of my older mixes, No Man Is without Enemies. I realize that both have the same Dangerous Toys song, but its a great song and really fits both.

All of the songs are about one of these subjects: fighting, dieing, killing, kicking ass, violence, over coming crap, destruction, death, etc. Song that just sound badass and/ or bands that are just fucking badass! Well, you get my drift!

Music Mix: Cover Up

Time for a new mix kiddies! This time around, my mix is all cover songs. Most of them are of metal bands covering other metal bands, but a couple of them are of metal bands taking on more pop oriented music. In parenthesis, after each song title, you will find the name of the original band that played that song, in case you wanna know who it was, or you wanna look for the original (which you really should do). Ahh, Halloween, it's my favorite holiday. And, it should come as no shock to anyone who knows me or reads this blog on a regular basis that it is. Making a Halloween mix is something I been meaning to do since 2007 (maybe even before that). And, so here it is. With subject matter that includes Satan, witches, goth chicks, lycanthropy, and Jason Voorhees, and such Halloween friendly bands such as the Misfits, Sigh, Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie, and Cradle of Filth, I hope I have made a mix that you can enjoy at your own scary Halloween party or maybe on the way to a Halloween party or whenever you feel like listening to music with some scary subject matter.

Music Mix: By the Power of Ballad 2

Last year, I made my first mix for CD Mom. It was a ballad mix, and it became my favorite out of all of the ones that I did since then. I said I would do a sequel a year later and, well, here it is. As with the last one, not all are hair bands. I threw in some goth, thrash, and other forms of hard rock/ metal bands. One is even an acoustic version of a classic Iron Maiden song (Wasted Years) by hard rockers Damone.

This month's mix was inspired from a group of us from CD Mom (the group that I trade mixes with) went to a Chinese/ Vietnamese restaurant, and when I got my fortune cookie it said, "No man is without enemies".
