Toy Fair 2020: Mezco Toyz

Mezco Toyz always make such awesome toys, and their booth at Toy Fair is always a highlight. This year was no different, as you will see in this post!

Here are a preview of some of the awesome toys that they will be putting out this year:

Mezco Toyz keeps on killing in it the toy collector department. And, this year at Toy Fair 2018, was no different. Here are just some of my favorite upcoming releases from them.

Fellow Marvel fans will have a lot to look forward to including, but not limited to these following sweet figures:

Based on the Netflix Marvel series, fans can get these TV accurate Daredevil and Punisher!

What a badass Blade figure!

DC fans will love this kick ass Batman Beyond figure!

Of course, we horror fans have A LOT to rejoice over as well! These are among some of the coolest figures I saw at the entire show!

Based on his look in "Friday the 13th Part 3", THE definitive Jason Voorhees figure!

Preorders for Michael Myers are all filled up, so if you missed this awesome dude, you're SOL, unless you want to pay the collector's market fee, of course...

The last figure I wanna show you guys is this John Wick one, which is definitely top of my list to get!

The Art of Living Dead Dolls

In honor of the 16th anniversary of Mezco's highly successful line of horror dolls, Living Dead Dolls, the toy company has released a beautiful softcover, coffee table sized book filled with artwork and pictures of the macabre and cool dolls, called The Art of the Living Dead Dolls.

The book opens up with world famous horror artist Basil (Famous Monsters of Filmland, Rob Zombie, etc) Gogos doing a foreword where he talks about the Living Dead Dolls (LDD) and their creators. Short and to the point, it's a loving and fun way to start off the book.

From there we go right into art inspired by various dolls themselves. There are lots of artists showing their work and paying tribute to the LDDs in all sorts of artful manners. They include pen and ink, pencil, watercolor, digital, photography, and more. All the pieces of art are just that and look beautiful, stunning, and creepy. And, all are done with a distinct quality of spooky fun.

The next chapter has pics from the 2006 LDD art show. These are various dolls created by various artists for display at it. It is followed by a fun chapter on LDD fan art. Finally, the book closes off with a real cool chapter on LDD tattoos. There are lots of pics of various ink fans have gotten to show off their love for these adorable and evil dolls.

In all The Art of Living Dead Dolls is a beautifully put together and fun book. You'll wanna look at it over and over again. And, at 20 bucks it's a steal! It's a true must have not just for fans of the LDDs, but for all fans of morbid and horror related collectables.

Mezco Toyz' Living Dead Dolls Invade NYC

Mezco Toyz' Living Dead Dolls hit their 16th anniversary this year, and in honor of that they are looking for a mausoleum for dolls and artifacts to be buried there till the 66.6th anniversary on June 2064. On April 17, 2014, they hit Ripley's Believe or Not in Times Square, NYC to begin the search.

It is here that the capsule casket was revealed. It was transported in Hersula, the Cadaveric Superior Hearse by Joe Baxter and Reaper's Rides Hearse Limo Service. It looked so freaking cool in person! Also, the first 160 fans who came to the event got an exclusive coin marking the event (one side of it is the Satanic cross in the pic at top).
