Chiller Theatre: April 2023

This past weekend, April 28-30, 2023, marked another edition of the greatest convention on God's green Earth: Chiller Theatre!! On Saturday, the 29th, my friend Freddie and I headed out, had an awesome time, and met some amazing guests!

The first person that I went up to was the lovely Julia Nickson, who is best remembered for her role as Rambo's doomed love interest in the action classic Rambo: First Blood Part II. That's been one of my favorite movies ever since I was a little kid, so I was super excited to meet her. She was all smiles and sweet in person, as well as being still beautiful.

The two people I was most excited to meeting were the Scream bathroom girls. Their bitchy and mean role may have been short, but they're unforgettable! Plus, I had a little bit of a crush on them as a college student seeing the movie. First was the gorgeous Leonora Scelfo who played the cheerleader. She was fucking awesome in person! Very sweet and fun to talk to, she was also still stunning. She talked to us about her interest in being in Terrifier 3, but that she, herself, wasn't into horror. It really doesn't matter, cause she is too sweet a lady.

The lovely Nancy Anne Ridder was other girl of the two. She was soooo sweet in person! Seriously, she was wonderfully bubbly, friendly, and humble in person. She was flattered that I had a crush on both of them, and that they were the ones that I mosted wanted to meet. She let my bud, Freddie, get in on the first pic and just me in the second one. I swear both of these beautiful ladies are fucking awesome to meet!

Speaking of crushes, Lisa Fuller, a Horror Crush inductee was up next for me. I told her about how The Monster Squad has been one of my favorite movies ever since I was a little kid, how I had a crush on her back then, and how I was so happy she was finally doing cons! She was super sweet in person still so beautiful!

In keeping with the childhood crush theme of the day, the last person, I went up to on my own was the gorgeous Olivia D'Abo, That was thanks to Conan: The Destroyer, of course. It took a while to meet her, but she was worth the wait thanks to her being so sweet in person. And, she is still absolutely gorgeous.

My friend Freddie met Richard Young, best known from being in the prologue to the classic Indiana Jones: The Last Crusade. He is the guy who gets the crucifix that young Indy (the late, great River Phoenix) tries to get back. Young's character inspired his look movie, as the story goes. Anyway, I got to get in Freddie's pic with him.

We stayed a little for the party but were tired and didn't catch much. We did see Richie Scarlet who was back and was as awesome as ever!

The stuff that I bought there were:
A Screem magazine pack, which got me: Monster from Green Hell Blu-ray (which I've never seen but have been curious about)
Freeway 4K from Vinegar Syndrome booth. This is the first time that is uncut!! I am so pumped to watch this classic again!! That's something I haven't done in many years.

The autographs that I got at Chiller are:
Nancy Anne Ridder and Leonora Scelfo- Scream- Aside, from them being awesome as fuck, tell me their autographs are the coolest ever!
Lisa Fuller- The Monster Squad

And, so another Chiller ended, one that was one of the most fun times that I've had in a while. But, we shall be back in October! Did any of you guys go? If so who did you meet? Let me know in the comments section below.
