Super7's Conan the Barbarian in Deluxe Form (Preview)

This seems like a welcome time to talk about Super7's amazing Conan: The Barbarian Deluxe Form action figure that they put out recently. You see, I just rewatched that classic last night, in honor of the  passing of James Earl Jones. A true legendary actor, he had many amazing roles, including playing the movie's main antagonist Thulsa Doom. As Doom, he was one of the greatest villains ever. Of course, he also voiced Darth Vader (so that is two of world's greatest bad guy parts). That is on top of all the other great roles he played. The news gutted me, to say the very least. RIP to one of Hollywood's true greats and May the Force be with him.

With that, I go back to talking about this incredible looking figure. Conan is one of my favorite characters (I grew up on the amazing Marvel comics and the movies), and this movie is one of my favorites of all time. In fact, it is my favorite fantasy film ever.

Just look at how cool he looks!

The 10 Hottest Babes of GAME OF THRONES

One of my favorite shows of all time comes back with a new season tonight: Game of Thrones! I really loved last season, so I am, of course excited to see what will happen tonight and beyond. The show is the definitive fantasy series of all time, I think. One of the many appealing aspects of it, is its' abundance of beautiful women. Upon making this list, I was reminded just how many there have been! So, of course it wasn't easy to make, but it sure was fun! So, get ready for tonight's episode by checking out the 10 hottest babes to ever appear on Game of Thrones!
WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD (so don't bitch!)

10. Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey)- Let's begin the list with who is arguably the cruelest and biggest bitch on my list, blonde baddie Cersei. While, her incestuous affections for her brother Jamie are pretty gross, and she is pretty easy to hate, it doesn't stop her from being gorgeous. She certainly a MILF and an evil one at that. Her character did get fully nude last season for her walk of shame but sadly we got a body double. That being said Lena Headey's body double had an awesome figure!
9. Gilly (Hannah Murray)- This Wildling babe is sweet and beautiful as portrayed by the lovely Hannah Murray. She also serves as a love interest for Sam who protects her and her child. It's actually one of the sweetest relationships on this show. Gilly is frequently in lots of layers, but Murray is such a gorgeous woman, that she would look good in a potato sack.
8. Myranda (Charlotte Hope)- From one of the sweetest characters to one of the meanest bitches, Myranda is the lover of Ramsay Bolton. He is an awful human being so it takes an terrible person to love him. Myranda more than takes up that mantle. But, she's played by the absolutely beautiful Charlotte Hope, so I find it hard to fully hate her.
7. Shaye (Sibell Kekilli)- Shaye was a hooker that Tyrion fell in love with. Their relationship was, at one point, my favorite on the show, as I genuinely loved both characters. Unfortunately, she turned on Tyrion and got her just deserts. Regardless, of how much I went from loving Shaye to outright hating her, and I really began to hate her. Still, there is no denying her extraordinary beauty, especially As played by French stunner Kekilli. Earlier in her career, Kekilli worked in porn flicks(!), so she is perfect for this website. Anyway, she simply drips sex and looks AMAZING nude. Also, that accent is fucking hot as hell!
6. Doreah (Roxanne McKee)- The hottest handmaiden of Daenerys, she is a former whore (yeah, this is a very popular form of work in the world of GoT!). Early on in the show, she gives Daenerys advice on how to pleasure her husband. She is extremely sexy and McKay is just a vision of beauty. I had forgotten just how beautiful she was, being she died in season two, but in revisiting the first season, I fell in love all over again with her!
5. Daenerys Taragaryn (Emilia Clarke)- My second favorite character in the entire series, Daenarys, the Mother of Dragons is a fucking badass. She is a good person, but you don't wanna get on her bad side. Clarke is breathtaking and the perfect person to be cast in this role. She has gotten nude quite a few times (thank God for that!), and she has those fucking dragons! The imagine of her riding off of on Drogon last season is one of the highlights of the entire season.
4. Melisandre (Carice van Houten)- Being a bad girl is really hot. Being redhead is hot. Being into witchy stuff can be hot. So we combine all these three factors and you get The Red Woman, AKA Melisandre, who is hot as fuck and beyond! Seriously, this witch is portrayed by such a gorgeous actress in van Houten. Her dark powers only add to the evil sexiness that she has. This follower of the god of light is every bit as hot as the god she worships. Bewitching, indeed!
3. Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner)- Sansa has been through some pretty bad shit. She's seen her dad's head get lopped off, she has been married to two awful human beings, and just overall, not had a pleasant time. I certainly hope things turn better for her this season. As played by beautiful redhead Sophie Turner it is easy to see how she has so many fall for her. Turner is older than the actual character of Sansa is in the books. And, thank freaking God for that. Cause otherwise, she wouldn't have made this list.
2. Ygritte (Rose Leslie)- Redhead (yeah, I love redheads!) Wildling, Ygritte was both tough and sexy. I genuinely loved her relationship with Jon Snow. She was the first to give us one of the most beloved lines of all time on this series: "You know nothing Jon Snow!" She also got frequently nude. Yay! Honestly, when she finally died I was pretty damn saddened, but her character will always rank as one of my favorites on the show. And, as played by Leslie she without a shadow of doubt, the silver medal winner of the series.
1. Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer)- This smart little vixen had to be our gold medal winner. Played by the impossibly beautiful Dormer, Margaery is a sexy and seductive lady. She is also a wonderfully complex and fascinating character. Those beautiful blue eyes! That body! That accent! That flawless face! It's just too much! Yes, this show is filled to the brim with goddesses, but from the moment she stepped onscreen, she won our hearts. And, apparently other hearts, too. Our number 10 may hate her, but we all love her!

Double Dose of Bad SyFy Movies: Sharknado & Blast Vegas

Through some combination of boredom, laziness (to pop in one of my own movies), and feeling totally uninspired led me to watch four hours(!!!), of SyFy flicks. Which amounts to two movies. Neither of them were actually good, but at least I could sit through them, which is more than I can say for the majority of crap films on that channel.

The first of the batch, Sharknado, had a following before it even premiered on the channel. It became popular enough to warrant an upcoming sequel! But, more on that later...

This utterly ridiculous movie tells the tale of a bar owner (Ian Ziering) who is worried about his
estranged wife (Tara Reid) and their kids cause of a nasty storm that hits Los Angeles. Said storm brings forth tornadoes filled with... yup sharks!!!

The movie is incredibly stupid, but at least it knows it is. It's played campy. But, then how else would play this shit? The dialogue is hilariously bad, and it is impossible to take anything seriously. Nor should you.

The acting ranges from OK to terrible. Ziering, he of Beverly Hills 90210 fame, is OK. The lovely hottie who is one of his bartenders,Nova (Cassie Scerbo, seen above/ left), is the most likable character and the hottest woman in the movie. She keeps ya interested if you know what I mean. The same cannot be said of Reid who is fucking awful and looks worse than ever. Why any man would be married let alone care what happens to her, I don't know. If was Zering I would've used as sharknado bait. But, hey she said she's up for the sequel... cause honestly, what the fuck else is she doing these days? The sequel, by the way, will have a subtitle that comes from a fan tweet. It will also take place in my home, New York City...

Anyway, there are of ridiculous moments in this film, including a bar goer who most take his barstool cause he always sat there. Any of my fellow bar goers feel that they would do this in an emergency? Probably not. Or the amazing scene involving Ziering, a chainsaw, a great white, and being swallowed.

Throw in terrible CGI and a truly stupid way to stop tornadoes, and you have a movie as dumb as it is expected to be. It does have some good gore, though, and it's really kind of funny. But, it has gotten overrated in the it's so bad so good world. Too much hype around it, but I think if I had been downing Jameson shots while watching it, I may have it enjoyed it more.

Overall rating:
** out of ****

The next film, Blast Vegas (the poster all the way at the top/ left is, I guess from it's original far less entertaining or ingenious title) fared better in my eyes, but by this point I was expecting utter and complete shit, so...

Two bad guys (Joe Dante and John Landis, in cameos, giving the film some horror flick cred) steal an ancient, Egyptian sword. They fuck it up and eventually it ends up in the Isis Hotel and Casino in the Luxor in Las Vegas. Two groups of college kids, one all male, one all female, go there for spring break. These stereotypical characters are fronted by a nerdy guy, Nelson (Frankie Muniz) and a nerdy girl Olive (the gorgeous Maggie Castle), who, of course, don't really like being there and don't party like the others (BULLSHIT!! I'm a tried and true geek and so is anyone I have go to Vegas with or hung with and we have had AMAZING times!). When Nelson's douchbag friends take the sword and put into the ground to see if it will unleash the curse... It does! Of course! Soon, a cobra appears, and snake sand storm wrecks the strip. Nelson wants to find Olive and save her and save the day, too. And, with of Vegas lounge signer Sal Rowinski (Barry Bostwick), who leads the way, hopefully he can.

This movie is pretty fuckin bad, at first. Other than the camoes it is shit, until the curse gets released. Then, it turns into a lot of fun. It moves at a quick clip from here on in. The bad CGI are, sort of,
endearing. But, most of the charm comes from the violence (not A LOT, but there is some impaling, sword slashing, glass shredding, etc to keep things bloody) and, most of all, from the scenes of destruction. Vegas veterans/ lovers, like myself, will get a kick out of seeing famous landmarks and hotel/ casinos get trashed. New York/ New York, Harrah's, the Venetian, the Stratosphere, etc all get demolished.

Sadly, the climax loses it as Muniz is a TERRIBLE actor and even worse hero. Castle, though, is a real babe and a very likable love interest. The rest of their friends are annoying, douchy, or stupid. But, Bostwick is fuckin awesome as Sal. That's a dude I would totally hang and party with , my home away from, Vegas! He really drives the film and you, gasp, care for him!!

Still, it's a decent and utterly lame-brained romp that will kill your time. I say check it out, but be sure to keep expectations as low as mine were, if not lower!

**1/2 out of ****

After that the channel was suppose to air more bad movies, but like a victim of a Ronda Rousey armbar, I gave up and tapped out. This I did by reaching for my remote and shutting off my TV set. Probably the best choice I made all day!

Camelot & The Borgias- Cables Newest Series

Two new shows have recently debuted on premium cable: Camelot and The Borgias. These are my thoughts on them.

WARNING: Some minor spoilers are mentioned in here.

Camelot- Of these two shows, this one is my preferred one, well at least for now. Airing on Starz, it retells the King Arthur legend. There is a good mix of drama, with some fantasy elements through in. I'm glad they did not opt to ignore the fantasy elements (which is something I was afraid they were gonna do).

First off, the production value, is of course, sumptuous. The cinematography is gorgeous. The acting is excellent. I love the whole cast, in particular Eva Green is the deliciously evil Morgan. But, more on her later.

Since this is cable, they are able to add lots of violence, including a bloody slaughter at the end of the two part first episode. Actually, the first episode was aired as a preview, last month, which is when I caught it. Last night, I saw the full two-parter.

Anyways, the other thing that cable allows is, of course, skin! And thank God for the beautiful Eva Green!!! I been a fan of hers since Casino Royale. She has a breathtakingly beautiful face and gorgeous eyes. And, those natural boobs are a sight to behold! Holy fuckin' shit! I flipped out when she showed them on the preview! In the ending of the second half she shows them to some wolf/ demon (?) thing. Some lycan-like creatures have all the luck!

The Borgias- This show I was interested long before I even heard of Camelot. I first heard about it when my friend Kristie, and I went to the Showtime house way back in October of last year. The Showtime house is an annual thing were artists make rooms inspired by each show on Showtime. While Dexter was, of course, our favorite room, my second fav had to be The Borgias room. I mean it had a big-ass cross, a skull, and bunch of books. How could it not be?

Anyways, it definitely made me curious to see this show. Well that and the fact that Jeremy Irons is in the lead role. He's a great actor, and I been a fan of his since I saw him in Cronenberg's classic Dead Ringers. Anyhow, I kept waiting and waiting for it to air. To the point where I was wondering what the fuck was up!

Well, it finally debuted this Sunday, with a another two parter. Again, the set design and costumes are gorgeous. This one is a little slower, though. It is inspired by the real life and corrupt Borgias family. The dude was some scummy pope. This show promises to show what is, as they call it, "the first crime family".

Already, we see glimpses of the corruption. Sex seems to play a major part in it. Which of course means skin! The female cast, by the way, is VERY easy on the eyes.

The acting is excellent, and it should be noted that it is produced by Neil (Interview with the Vampire) Jordan. Like I said, it was slow, but the last twenty minutes really kicked the series into gear. Based on the clips they showed, I think this show will only get better. Very much looking forward to more episodes.

So, there you have it. I hope you guys will give these shows a look. I would love to hear your thoughts on them, as well.
