NYCC 2023: Thursday- My First ever Group Cosplay: Bob's Burgers & Much More!

October 12-15 2023 marked the latest edition of the always awesome New York Comic Con, held as always at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. I was there for three out of the four days, all of which provided my friends and I a ton of fun. The first of these days, Thursday the 12th, was especially memorable for me, cause I got to do my first group cosplay: Bob's Burgers! Joined by a group of my friends: Bob (Hellen), Linda (Danni), Louise (Bree), Tina (Tara), and Millie (Alex), while O I was Gene, we met early and walked around the con. We got stopped quite a few times and posed for a ton of pics.

Speaking of pics, as you will see in the following ones, we had a blast. I loved being part of a group, especially one that consisted of my friends, who all rock! I hope that we do this every year. Anyways, on to those pics!

There were also, of course, a ton of cool cosplays on hand, from other fellow cosplayers. Here are some of my favorites:

These guys were promoting the new season of Chucky (still one of the best shows on TV!) and were fucking awesome!

Here are some more awesome sites from this day at comic con!

Finally, after I got out of my cosplay, I met Matthew K. Manning. He was signing copies of his latest book, the awesomely cool Batman" The Multiverse of the Dark Knight.

I also got this swag at comic con on this day:
From TeeTurtle, I got two con exclusive con shirts:
Sorry for the accurate things I said.
I have no idea what I'm doing.
From Topps, I won some NYCC exclusive Garbage Pail Kids cards.
And, from Super7, I got NYCC exclusives of:
Glow in the dark Reaction Gigan and a large X-ray Optimus Prime action figure.

Stay tuned for my coverage of Friday and Sunday, including my debut of another new cosplay of mine!

Some Highlights from Bandai and Cryptozoic at Toy Fair 2018

Here are a couple of cool toys that caught my eye from Bandai at Toy Fair 2018:
Of course, there was a lot of cool "Dragonball Z" figures!
Their "Transformers" toys are so freaking badass!

Over at Cryptozoic, there were so many cool figurines. Of course, they have a lot of DC comics stuff, especially in terms of their super popular Bombshells line. Here are a few that caught my eye:
These Lynda Carter "Wonder Woman" figurines are gonna be must haves for her and WW fans!

NYCC 2016- Fri, Part 1: More Cosplay, Toys, and Babes

As we moved into the second day of NYCC 2016, there was a lot more cosplay to behold. We also saw more cool toys. Here is the first part of some of my favorites in both categories from that Fri.
Let's be honest here. In a sea of Suicide Squad movie inspired Harley Quinns, it's hard to stand out. But, a couple did, like this lovely lady above.
 It's Purge time, motherfuckers!

Wanted at NYCC: more horror related cosplay like this awesome Saw inspired one!

Let's take a little break from cosplay, and go look at some cool toys. Oh and calm the fuck down we will get to more cosplay in a bit! First off, here is some stuff for my anime loving readers, including lots of Dragonball Z toys.

And, now for my fellow monster and horror fans, the King of Monsters, himself, Godzilla and friends!! All of these are from Diamond Select, by the way.
 Godzilla's best buddy, Anguirus!

Holy shit! It's Titanisaurus! Hardcore Godzilla fans will recall that he teams up with Mecha-Godzilla to attack Tokyo and beat-up Godzilla in the movie The Terror of Mecha-Godzilla.
The Godzilla: Final Wars incarnation of Gigan. Fucking badass!
Now back to more cosplayers, cause I always keep my promises!

This is the Ghost Rider that is currently on Agents of SHIELD. BTW, I haven't watched that show in ages and don't plan on ever going back to it. I am not a fan of this version of GR (in the comics, anyways), even though I am a huge GR fan, overall. That being said, this cosplay kicks all kinds of ass.

And, let's end not with a cosplay or a toy pic, but instead a pic (taken by Negative Pop) with me and a three beautiful ladies who were giving away samples of a juice.

To be continued...
