WinterCon 2023 this Weekend in Queens, NY!

WinterCon, which is one of my personal favorite conventions, returns to the Resorts World Casino in Queens, NY this weekend, December 2&3! And, I couldn't be more pumped for it, as I'll be there covering it for my site.

As always there will be some amazing guests including cast members from Galaxy Quest, Farscape, Lexx, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Jaws 2, and so much more! And, of course, awesome guests means that there will also be some killer panels featuring them.

Artist Alley will also have some great guests, including some of your favorite from the world of comic-books.

Of course, there will surely be some really cool and awesome cosplay. I'll be in cosplay myself, bringing back my Rick Flag from The Suicide Squad. Also on Saturday, there will be a  cosplay contest, which is always fun to check out and/ or enter.

All of this on top of all the awesome dealers and after party, making WinterCon a must attend for my fellow cosplayers and sci-fi and comic geeks. I hope to see you there!

(Video) Artist Kira Lee Talks to Us at Her Cartoons & Characters NYC Gallery

On June 22, 2017, I was on-hand for the opening of incredibly talented artist Kira Lee's latest art-show. Cartoons and Characters, as the small canvas gallery is named, is being held at 212 Arts, now through July 18th. As the name entails, it features her artwork of various cartoon, and a few non-cartoon, characters. While, there I also got to catch with her and conduct a brand new interview, as she told all about this show.
You can see it in the video, below:

I thoroughly love her work, and this gallery, is particularly awesome! The characters are so cool! The colors on the art pop, making everything very pleasing to the eye. Everything on display looks so beautiful and fun.

(Video) Gund at Toy Fair 2016

If there was award for the cutest booth that I visited at Toy Fair 2016, then it would have to go to Gund. They make very adorable and awesome plush toys and have some awesome licensees under their umbrella of releases. In this video, I focus on geek and cute animal internet celebs (both real and animated) that I think you guys and girls will love. As such the following is covered and shown: DC Comics, Pusheen Cat, Boo (AKA the World's Cutest Dog and deservedly known as such), Prissy and Pop Pig, Star Trek, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Studio Ghibli. Most of these should be out now.
