NYCC 2024: Thursday- Toys, Cosplay, and the Return of Logan!

Last month, October 17-20, 2024 marked the latest edition of New York Comic Con. This time around I was there all four days, doing cosplay and having a great time. For the first day, on Thursday, I bought back one of my older cosplays, Logan! After the excellent Deadpool and Wolverine, I immediately felt like it was time to cosplay as him once again.

The Godzilla booth might have been my favorite booth in the entire con. It was too expensive for my pockets but still cool as hell to look at the toys and more in it.

Another booth that was awesome as hell was, of course, NECA. As expected they had some great toys on display for horror fans, metalheads, and geeks.

Right next to them were there sister brand, Kid Robot, of course. They had more stuff for horror fans and geeks to flip out over.

Jada Toys has become another one of my favorite toy manufactures. And, as such I loved looking at their booth, as well.

Of course, there was lots of cosplays to behold, and following are some of my favorites, of this day:

Of course, I also joined in on the fun, as Logan. I really had a great time cosplaying as him once again, even more than the last time that I did. And, felt so complemented by people who praised the way I looked.

With my friend Dane

While, I signed up for a couple of panels, I could only attend one: Rick and Morty. It was really fun and great to hear the cast and crew talking about the many aspects of this awesome show. And, we learned that we will have many more seasons to look forward to, at least till 12, if not more! Hell yeah!

Here is the swag that I bought that day:
Master of the Universe Funko Pop: Kobra Khan (only $5!)
TeeTurtle (at one of their booths) convention exclusive T-shirt: Coffee makes me less murdery.
Handmade By Robots (at their booth) NYCC exclusive: Halloween II Pumpkin Scented Michael Myers

And, so ends the first day of NYCC. It was a lot of fun, but it would only get better from here! Any of you guys there on Thursday? If so what did you do or like the most from this day? Let me know in the comments section below.

Funko- Toy Fair 2018, Part 2

Funko have started, with their Mortal Kombat line, to do figures in the classic Masters of the Universe scale and style. They are widely expanding it with bunch of new series:

First up: Horror, which will have Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers, Pinhead, and Leatherface.

Conan the Barbarian, based on the classic 1982 fantasy movie:

And, Thundercats, which is probably the crossover I wanted to be able to do with my toys more than anything else, as a kid. Yes, I know we got a comic-book series a few years ago, but now you will be able to reenact it! Or, do it your way!

Come to think it, the idea of He-Man battling horror villains and teaming up with Conan and friends to battle Thulsa Doom who would be teaming up with King Hsss, is fucking awesome!

On to more Pops!!

"Garbage Pail Kids" Pops! What a time to be alive!

Have you been thinking to yourself, "You know what? There is simply not enough Deadpool merchandise out these?" If so, the following is for you!

And, now for the last batch I am showing, let's go with all the AWESOME Rick and Morty stuff that we are getting (or have gotten, in some cases)! FUCK YEAH!!!

These above are already out, but, in stores, Scary Terry is really hard to find in brick and mortar stores.

I need all of the Rick and Morty merchandise, especially this Snowball!!!
