Pre-Orders for G.I. Joe Classifieds Budo and Hawk with (M.M.S.) Missile Mobile System Are Up!

Two new G.I. Joe Classified figures just recently became available for pre-order and both are members of the Joe team.

First is Kyle "Budo" Jesso, the G.I. Joe samurai. I had his original 1988 figure. He was one of my favorites cuz he was a fucking samurai and his file card stated that he listened to heavy metal music. As a little metalhead, I thought this was the coolest thing ever! I always had him team-up with Snake-Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Jinx cuz it just made sense for me. I definitely NEED this figure!

This Classified figure is an amazing update on said toy. He looks cool and the guns are a nice addition. As cool as he might have been the idea of a freaking samurai being in a military outfit, even one with as many random operatives and specialists as Joe has, was a little on the silly side. I am sure the thought process at Hasbro was well we have ninjas why not a samurai, too! But, I digress. The addition of the guns, one a pistol possibly modified to be a rapid fire gun (based on the extended clip, is how I am guessing) and an assault rifle, makes him more useful and believable. As if he is infantry but also happens to be a samurai!

Are you guys gonna be adding him to your collection? You can do so by going here to order him. And, let me know if you do get him!

The other figure up for pre-order is a deluxe one. It's Clayton "Hawk" Abernathy with M.M.S. (Mobile Missile System)
This is, of course, an update of one of the original Joes. Before he was the commander of the G.I. Joe unit, Hawk was a missile commander, Being one of the original Joes, meant I didn't have him. As while, I watched the toon and read some comics, I didn't start to really collect them till '86. By, which point his character had risen the ranks and become the official leader of the Joes and one of my all time favorite characters in the G.I. Joe universe.

I definitely would love to own him. I mean, aside from my love of Hawk, he looks great. The accessories alone are incredible! And, that M.M.S. looks like it kicks all kinds of ass!

Are you gonna be picking him up? If so you can order him here.

You guys excited for these two? Which will you be getting? Let me know in the comments section below.

G.I. Joe Classifieds from Toy Fair Are Up for Pre-Orders!

I have probably mentioned this before here (I know I have mentioned it on my social media): I am a HUGE G.I. Joe fan. And, I have been loving and been obsessed with G.I. Joe Classified figures. Being low on cash has made it harder for me to keep with the more recent releases. But, maybe that will change soon? I certainly hope. Anyways, Toy Fair showed a bunch of upcoming Joe figures, at the Hasbro booth. And, those figures are finally up for pre-order! Rejoice!

First up is the Cobra HISS Tank Fire Squad. This trio includes a repainted Range Viper, a HISS Tank Officer, and HISS Trooper. Obviously, this set is meant to go with the HasLab HISS tank. I don't have said tank, cuz it was really expensive and out of my budget. But, did any of you guys get it? If so what did you think about it? Let me know in the comments section below.
Anywho, I love the color scheme and the weapons/ accessories that comes with these figures. The multiple blast effects and said color scheme, really fit the name of this set. You can pre-order it here.

Speaking of Cobra soliders, up next is this badass take on the Cobra Frag Viper. I absolutely love the way the helmet looks and his waepons are cool!

The original Frag Viper came out around the time I was beginning to stop buying toys/ G.I. Joe figures, so I never got him. I hope to get this one though. You can pre-order him here

But, it's not just Cobra members that we are getting. We're getting some Joe team members, too, of course! Among them are the duo of Law & Order! And, if this is anything like the earlier Joe guy with a doggy, Mutt and Junkyard, then this one will also be one of the best Classified figures ever!
The original Law & Order was one of my favorite Joes ever! This looks like the perfect update/ upgrade of it, As such, they are THE must have of this batch for me. You can have them by going here.

We also get additions to one of my favorite groups in G.I. Joe, Destro's Iron Grenadiers in the form of Darklon!
Holy crap does this figure ever look awesome! I love his accessories! The Gatling gun and sword are as badass as hell! It's a great update of the original figure. Now, I was a huge fan of this group, but they came out late in the line. And, this guy, who is actually Destro's cousin, came packaged with his own vehicle, the rather not so great looking Evader. He obvioulsy doesn't come with that anymore, and that's fine by me. Cuz, I definitely need him, and if you feel the same way, you can get him here

This next figure is my second most wanted from this batch. It's Blowtorch!
Blowtorch is one of those figure, that I never had as a kid but always wanted. I mean he has a freaking flamethrower! This Classified version clearly looks cool, and the fire FX are fucking awesome!

We get another Joe team member in infantry trooper Footloose!
I love the weapons that he comes with! That LAW rocket launcher is especially kick ass! You can get him here

By the way, if you just want the figures from Wave 13 (that would be Blowtorch, Footloose, Frag Viper, and Darklon) you can get them together here. And, considering you get free shipping on orders of $79, that sounds perfect to me!

Speaking of sets you can get using free shipping over at Entertainment Earth, check out the Crimson Strike Team consisting of fan (and mine!) favorites: the Baroness, Tomax, and Xamot
I have the Classified Tomax and Xamot, as well as a retro cardback, Baroness Classified, but these repaints are cool! I love all the Crimson Guard stuff. Also, the attaché case they come in rules! You can get them here,

The last figure from this massive preorder batch is British Special Air Service member Big Ben!
The original Bug Ben is an early 90s figure, so I was long done buying at that point in time. As such, I definitely didn't have him. But, damn does this figure ever look cool! I love his guns, and that gas mask is kick ass! You can get him here

So, fellow G.I. Joe fans, which of these will you be getting? Let me know in the comments section below. Also, please use the above links cuz I get commission, when you make any order. Anything helps these days. Thank you and Yo Joe! Or Cobra! if you prefer.

Super7's Amazing Super Cyborg Batmobile (1989)!

To me and many other fellow Batman fans, the Batmobile from Tim Burton's 1989 masterpiece (still my favorite Batman movie all these years later) is the best looking and coolest version of the iconic superhero vehicle (especially within the live action world). Super7 have just released pics and info on their new release of this version of this classic car, and it looks amazing!

From their own press release:

Super Cyborg Batmobile!

Super7 is proud to present the Batman (1989) Batmobile Super Cyborg! Measuring over 13” long and 5” wide, this Batmobile vehicle is inspired by its appearance in the 1989 Batman film and is bursting with movie-accurate sculpt details and metallic paint accents. Remove the pair of exterior panels on the top of the vehicle to expose its intricate inner workings! Available at Super7.com.

You can order this must have release from Super7 themselves here. You can also pre-order it at Entertainment Earth here, where since it costs more than $99, you can get it with free shipping! Now, that's a deal that even Bruce Wayne, himself, can get behind!

Are you gonna be getting this? I want to have it so badly! Let me know in the comments section below if you are ordering it.

NYCC 2019- Thursday, Part 1: Toys and Collectibles

This past weekend of October 3-6, 2019 marked another awesome edition of New York Comic Con! The first day of it, on Thursday the 3rd, was a fun time. I opted out of doing cosplay on this day (this would be the first time I do a total of 3 days!) and stuck more towards check out the dealers floor, other cosplayers, and buying swag. By the next day, it was clear that I had picked the right day to just do that. Anywho, let's take a look at some of what I thought were the coolest toys and collectibles.
X-Plus had a lot of cool and beautiful high-end statues. Of course, it is the horror and monster stuff, especially the Godzilla ones, caught my attention the most!

As always, Mezco has some great figures coming out. Here are some of my favorites:

Here are some other collectibles that I loved:

As, I said this was my shopping day, so I got most of my swag. They are as follows:

- A Diamond Select Godzilla 1989 bank. this was the deal of the day, as I got it for only $20! it usually goes for about $35! The guy from one of the comic booths, said it's just a bank, albeit a great looking one. I agree, but too many charge like it was something more...

- FYE booth:
  • FYE exclsuive bloody Halloween Michael Myers Funko Pop
  • Garbage Pail Kids Adam Bomb (the only one I was missing and a slightly better price than most places)
  • a NYCC/ FYE exclusive Astronaut Snoopy long-sleeve
- TeeTurtle- a con exclusive "I tried" Panda tee

- Entertainment Earth- a NYCC debut WWE Smackdown The Rock Gold Funko Pop

NEXT Part: Cosplay!!
