Maitland Ward Named Top-Grossing Mainstream Star at Regional Comic Cons in June

(Los Angeles, CA / July 2, 2025) – Maitland Ward has officially ranked as the top-grossing mainstream star nationally across all regional comic cons in June 2025, following her headline appearance at Garden State Comic Fest in West Orange, New Jersey, where she reunited with White Chicks co-star Anne Dudek for the first time since the film’s 2004 release.

Her rare public reunion with Dudek, who played her sister and partner-in-crime in the comedy classic, was a major highlight of the weekend, helping her gross nearly $20,000 from photo ops, merchandise and autograph sales, according to regional event data.  Other stars include Juliette Lewis, Ashley Eckstein, Taryn Manning and Vanessa Angel.

“It’s really meaningful to be recognized in this way, especially among so many talented people who’ve built such strong connections with their fans,” said Ward. “I’ve worked across a lot of different spaces, and to see that it resonates with people, and to connect with them in person, that’s what makes these events so special.”

Ward’s broad fan appeal - spanning Boy Meets World, cult film, and pop culture fandom - kept autograph lines busy and energy high throughout the weekend. Her photo ops with fans dressed as their White Chicks characters became one of the event’s most buzzed-about moments and a social media highlight across platforms.

With White Chicks 2 heading into pre-production in 2026, interest in future appearances is already building - but Ward’s standout weekend at Garden State Comic Fest firmly reaffirmed her status as one of the most in-demand names on the fan convention circuit.

ABOUT MAITLAND WARD:
Southern California-born and bred Maitland Ward has quickly become one of the biggest stars in adult entertainment, after an-already successful career as an American model, actress and cosplay personality. After finding fame in the ‘90s on CBS soap The Bold and the Beautiful and smash ABC sitcom Boy Meets World, as well as a plum role in 2004’s cult classic White Chicks, Ward decided to shake things up with racy social media content, sexy cosplay and appearing at fan conventions before making the leap into adult film in 2019.

The statuesque (5’10”) all-natural redhead is unique in that not only is she beautiful and built for the adult biz, Ward’s talent as an actress means she can also carry dramatic and comedic scenes with ease. Her playful energy, professionalism and open sexuality earned her an exclusive performance contract with Vixen Media Group and the famous face of the brand’s blockbuster studio, Deeper.

Since 2020, Ward has earned a variety of industry accolades, including three AVN Awards that year for Drive (Best Supporting Actress, Best Three-Way Sex Scene-G/G/B) and Favorite Camming Cosplayer, along with three XBIZ Awards for Crossover Star of the Year, Best Actress–Feature Movie and Best Sex Scene–Feature Movie, also for Drive. In 2021, she won AVN’s Best Leading Actress for Muse and Best Boy/Girl Sex Scene for Higher Power, plus two XBIZ Awards for Best Acting–Lead and Best Sex Scene–Feature, both for Muse. In 2022, she earned XBIZ trophies for Best Acting–Lead for Muse 2 and Performer of the Year. In 2023, she claimed AVN’s Best Leading Actress for Drift and Mainstream Venture of the Year, as well as an XBIZ Award for Best Sex Scene–Feature Movie for Drift. In 2024, she won AVN’s Best Actress–Featurette for Casting Couch, and in 2025, she repeated in the same category for Pigeonholed, and took home two XMA Awards for American MILF-Best Acting–Lead and Best Sex Scene–Comedy Movie.

Ward’s recent mainstream endeavors include starring and co-producing a TV series, The Big Time, taking on a lead role in psychological thriller Just for You and releasing an eye-popping no-holds-barred memoir about her wild life in the entertainment biz, Rated X: How Porn Liberated Me from Hollywood (which won a ’23 AVN Award for the aforementioned Mainstream Venture of the Year and an esteemed Kirkus Star for Excellence).

From what I saw and what he told me, she seemed to be a total sweetheart and very personable with her fans. She also is even more beautiful in person. Did any of you guys meet her? Let me know if you did and how your experience was in the comments section below. And. be sure to also read my write-up on the con, itself.

Garden City Comic Fest: June 2025

Comic-book convention Garden City Comic Fest was held this past weekend of June 28th & 29th at the Essex Center Codey Arena in New Jersey. My friends and I went on Sunday the 29th. This is our first time attending it, and we had a blast!

The first of the two people I met that day was the lovely and multi-talented Jo Armeniox. She is an actress and voice over performer having appeared on Boardwalk Empire and done voices on Pokemon the Series: XY and XYZ as Shauna and Red Dead Redemption, among other projects. She was really sweet and down to earth in person.

I also met comic-book artist Nikkol Jelenic. She has done work for comic companies Top Cow, Marvel, and Dynamite. The later includes the covers for the horror/ fantasy franchise crossover Red Sonja Vs. the Army of Darkness. It's that that caught my eye at her booth. I picked up the first issue and got it signed by her. She was really cool and nice, in person (as well as being beautiful). I asked her if she was a fan of both. She said she was and that she only works on stuff she's a fan of. She also told me, that while she likes Red Sonja, she is more of an Army of Darkness fan. This only made her even more awesome in my book!

Here are some of the cool sights I saw at the convention:

Comic-book artist Fred Zorn signs his comic for my friend.

Being Sunday, there was probably less cosplay than the day before, but there was still some. Here are some of my favorites that I saw on this day:

If you are wondering why I didn't do any cosplay, this was honestly a last minute thing. And, also it was too hot. My anxiety would have killed me if I was all dressed up. As we had to walk to and from the venue from my friend's house. Anywho, I have four days in October to cosplay for NYCC.

Here is the swag that I bought at this con:
Funko Pops:
Universal Monsters Walgreens Exclusive: The Invisible Man
Jurassic Park Anniversary: Tyrannosaurus Rex (both were 50% off, so essentially 2 for $15)
Red Sonja vs. the Army of Darkness #1 (which I got it signed by cover artist Nikkol Jelenic at her booth)
G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #30 (which was 50%)
G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #36 (which was in the $1 bin)

The reason that I go some of these great deals us cuz it was Sunday.

On a side note, I'm looking for old issues of the Marvel run of  G.I. Joe or any of the trades that collect them. But, being low cash I don't have a lot to spend on them, so if you wanna help a brother out, or at least point me in the right direction, please don't hesitate. Thank you.

Anyway, we had a great time. I loved the way that it felt and looked like an old comic-book convention with celebs. That's something you don't see in NYC, really, so we loved it. And, will definitely be back for it next year!
